couldn't tell which is more irrational, the queen who's got all eaten up by the virgin idea, or, anne who refuses to be the king's only mistress, having all the love. sometimes we just feel no way out but stick to the meaningless , like catherine.comparing to the queen, anne's perseverance seems to be more meaningful, not the crown of future queen but her love for henry -- i'd trust she is in love as much as the king does. and like always, i 'd regard this show as a love story, nothing to do the history of england, and no interest in the conspiracy, politics or men's war. i know he will get her or actually she will get him finally, but damn it, the scene i am waiting all along the way by no accident does happen..in the very end of the last ep of the season.
i like the scene though, just like i adore anne on her first presence. if the show is all about anne being strong, the final scene would be the best highlight as a burst after long waiting and power saving.
thomas is weak even if perhaps not hypocritical, wolsey is stupid, catherine the queen is pathetic..but only anne is strong, i believe she's in love but there's more, she doesn't surrender to love. so she may be soft, bent but never weak -- that's why she survives the sweat. reminds me of a line i've always remembered, "my will is stronger than my heart", turns out this might be the only way to fulfill a heart, cause love is always connected to hurting, sorrow or just another word for death, it blinds your eyes and your minds, makes your obey and serve and all of a sudden abandons you or tears you apart...only with a strong will you may eventually win it or at least survive it, like anne..so far --read
a comment, saying she got killed by henry at last..crap
