Liberalism and other psychological disorders

Among the most peculiar psychological compulsions of the modern liberal is his tendency toward conspiracy theories. The liberal will stay up at night making weird connections, such as that ABC corporation is owned by DEF company, which is a subdivision of XYZ corporation, which is owned by a golf partner of George Bush's father.
The company that screened voting lists in Florida was...based in Texas!
Listen,I don't want you home alone tonight.
They believe all corporations are genetically linked.Giant corporations may own hundreds of subsidiary companies. But to liberals, it's all the same corporation, and the CEO of General Electric is controlling the opening monologue on Saturday Night Live.
Any mention of a corporation is ipso facto sinister, because liberals subscribe to the crazy Marxist notion that corporations are conservative, despite the blindingly obvious fact that the vast majority of Fortune 500 CEOs are liberals.
Of hundreds of companies that could provide support services in Iraq ,isn't it suspicious that Halliburton got the government contract?
Try asking the follow-up question: Exactly how many companies can provide these services? Answer:Two. The other one is Schlumberger,a French company. After liberal hysteria produced congressional investigations into Halliburton's contracts in Iraq,Congress's Government Accountability Office confirmed that Halliburton was the only American company that could provide the necessary oil field services after the invasion of Iraq.Oh also,Halliburton is losing money in Iraq. That's how powerful the military-industrial complex is.
This is like saying,"Isn't it interesting that----without exception----the World Series has had teams from the American League every year?I believe we're looking at a conspiracy, gentlemen."No, actually it's not that weird. There are only two leagues. But this is the kind of thinking you get on the Left these days.

    George W. Bush: "... shame on... ".

    George W. Bush: [pause]

George W. Bush: "Shame on you... "

    George W. Bush: [pause]

George W. Bush: "If fooled, you can't get fooled again."

    Narrator: For once, we agreed.

  • Narrator: George Orwell once wrote that, "It's not a matter of whether the war is not real, or if it is, Victory is not possible. The war is not meant to be won, it is meant to be continuous. Hierarchical society is only possible on the basis of poverty and ignorance. This new version is the past and no different past can ever have existed. In principle the war effort is always planned to keep society on the brink of starvation. The war is waged by the ruling group against its own subjects and its object is not the victory over either Eurasia or East Asia but to keep the very structure of society intact."
