I saw this movie many years ago, and it was late at night when I watched it. The specific plot is almost forgotten, only the dim and ambiguous tone, and the feeling of loss after watching it.
In fact, I can understand the mood of the male protagonist very well. Maybe because I have experienced a similar situation, I don't want to face a very complicated problem, and choose to do something else to divert attention, relieve anxiety or find some psychological comfort. From the past to now, I have not been very fond of romantic films, but I have a soft spot for this one. Unfamiliar men and women, if there is no heartbeat, a tacit understanding of no rudeness, and adventures on a whim, all return to dullness after dawn... It seems like a short and beautiful fantasy in a boring life. Maybe that's how people live, and give themselves a moment of fresh memory in the endless running and working.
Wanted to watch it from start to finish multiple times in a movie theater where it was just me, and wanted to spend such an aimless but peaceful night with someone funny who shares my sympathy with me.
Btw, I have always felt that Chris Evans is suitable for acting in a literary film, without the blessing of adrenaline, without the exciting plot of saving the world, but watching his blue eyes look into the distance with thoughtful eyes, watching him and the heroine walking hand in hand at midnight The street will make the mood inexplicably soothe down, maybe this is the so-called romance.
