A super hybrid version of a youth film

When you see that blond chick, you probably know what kind of person she is playing. One of the blond girls in American youth films is portrayed as a bad sister. "Bad Girl", "High School Musical", "Aquarius Girl"...and the one in this one.
They're pretty, rich, stinky, bad-tempered, and have one or two little escorts behind their asses (probably a group defection at the end). They always want to try out cleverness, but it often sets off the kindness and innocence of the heroine... Please, can you have a really powerful contest, don't shoot the IQ of American high school girls so low, and they are mentally retarded than their president.
The heroines are always a bit goofy and can't be blond - presumably to illustrate their innocence. They grinned, shrugged, and rolled their eyes. Repeat the Cinderella story. There is another good sister who can save herself, and of course a handsome guy who has a crush on her. No matter whether the handsome guy had a girlfriend or not at the beginning, after several conversations with the heroine and an affectionate look at each other, he gradually found that he liked the heroine. In the ending part, it is possible to give a kiss on the mouth, but don't count on it when you go to bed, so as to create a lovely and pure heroine image.
The story is generally two centers and one basic point.
It is centered on the open and secret battle between the positive heroine and the blonde chick, and the competition (singing competition, graduation party, etc.). Take a handsome guy watching the fire from the other side as the basic point. Coupled with a good friend with a personality, it's almost eye-opening.

This is a Disney film, which means that the most we can expect from him is music. "High School Musical" is a drama without a plot, but the music is well done, the male and female protagonists are worth seeing, and they are still very popular. The song of "Rock of Youth" is very similar to the background music of ordinary youth films, and it has not touched me at the first time, except for the part where the heroine sings solo in the piano room, which surprised me a bit.

Too tired to see it's pretty good. The people inside sing and dance in bright tight clothes, really rock and young!

Is this still rock? ! If it wasn't for his father bragging that he was a backing band for aerosmith, I wouldn't have been able to bear it for so long! I do. God horse stuff.

Camp Rock quotes

  • Shane Gray: [Mitchie, walking, stops when she sees Shane playing guitar, but he hears her cough] Can't a guy get some peace?

Mitchie Torres: Sorry. I didn't mean... Sorry.

Shane Gray: You said that already.

Mitchie Torres: Sorry. I, uh... Was that you playing? It sounded kinda different.

Shane Gray: [Shane rolls his eyes] Than my usual stupid cookie cutter pop star stuff? Sorry to disappoint.

Mitchie Torres: [she laughs] You didn't. I liked it. I mean, it was good for stupid cookie cutter pop star stuff.

Shane Gray: [he smiles] Wow. You really know how to make a guy feel better.

Mitchie Torres: I thought you loved your sound. You created it here. You're like a Camp Rock legend.

Shane Gray: Some legend. I only play the music that the label thinks will sell. That's it.

Mitchie Torres: You don't think that song would sell?

    Shane Gray: I don't know.

Mitchie Torres: Well, you'll never know if you don't try. And, by the way, I know of one girl that would buy that song.

  • Shane Gray: [singing alone by a canoe] "Turn on that radio as loud as it can go. Gotta dance until my feet can't feel the ground."

Mitchie Torres: [Mitchie walks up] So, uh, does your voice sound better over here?

Shane Gray: Why don't we get in one of these things and you can tell me?

Mitchie Torres: [out on the lake, Mitchie is laughing as she and Shane are going in circles with the canoe] Really?

Shane Gray: Yeah. It was awesome.

Mitchie Torres: [laughing] Yeah. I don't think we're doing this right.

Shane Gray: What? You don't like going in circles?

Mitchie Torres: So, have you found you're special girl yet?

Shane Gray: Why, are you jealous?

    Mitchie Torres: Jerk.

Shane Gray: Hey, being a jerk is a part of the rock star image.

Mitchie Torres: Keeping up an image can be tiring.

Shane Gray: But it keeps the posers away. I never know if people are hanging with me for the free stuff or for the parties.

Mitchie Torres: Oh, definitely the free stuff.

    Shane Gray: Funny.

Mitchie Torres: Come on, I know you're really not a jerk. I mean you're helping Andy with his dancing, and those screaming girls seem to like you.

Shane Gray: Which brings me back to the whole jealous thing.

Mitchie Torres: I take that back. You are a jerk.

Shane Gray: It must be the same for you too, huh?

    Mitchie Torres: What?

Shane Gray: Because of your mom and her job at Hot Tunes. People probably are always fake around you.

Mitchie Torres: Uh, yeah. Right. Totally.

Shane Gray: You know, it's nice talking to someone who gets it.

    Mitchie Torres: Yeah. Me, too.
