Sin and Punishment, Fall and Redemption

It is another story of crime and punishment, depravity and redemption,
but in the end, only one can save himself, not the
statue of God. It is just the incarnation of inner expectation. When winter comes, the purest spirit of human beings

, monks are self-reliant for the sins of their youth. When punished, I thought that was the end of the story. Because when he dragged the big stone mill and carried the Buddha statue to the top of the mountain, the sins of his youth and youth were vividly experienced, as if it were repeated, and everything was dissolved in the cold weather. Finally, at the top of the mountain, through the Buddha statue, people's eyes can see the crystal clear lake like a mirror, and the small temple in the middle. The temple and people's soul should be pure at this moment.
Although sin and redemption are so heavy, if the movie stops there, there is still some hope.

But it turns out that spring has come again. When the door guarded by King Kong opened on the pier by the lake, what caught the eye was the rippling lake water in spring, and the charming peach blossoms swaying on the water.

At this wonderful moment, one thought that the true rebirth had begun. After experiencing the bleak winter, people's deep pain and self-help, it seems that the arrival of spring is a matter of course.

But what kind of spring is this? When the child was sent in by the masked woman, I had a premonition of some kind of reincarnation, thinking that the growth of this monk was just some kind of experience of the old monk. The same as when the monks were young. This child not only looks like him, but also begins to mutilate turtles, small fish, frogs and snakes. Moreover, it is even worse than when the monks were young: the lives of these animals, compared with the pain of being tied up with ropes, have no chance of being saved. Because the stone that symbolizes heavy burden and pain is no longer bound to the outside of the body, but is inserted into the body and becomes one with itself.

The fate of turtles, small fish, frogs and snakes is a silhouette of human fate. It's just that the former is forced; the latter is often found by oneself. Both are due to human ignorance and stupidity.

Sin is eternal. Redemption is not always possible because more people are unaware of sin. Greed, hatred and delusion cloud the mind, and the chaotic heart may only see a chaotic world, where everything is in ignorance.

It seems that the fate of mankind is indeed in some kind of reincarnation, and the inevitability of fall and redemption seems to imply a certain justice of nature. But timely understanding is very inevitable. Not everyone has a Buddha statue in their hearts. That's what monks carry with them at all times.

Everything has not changed, but the heart has changed; the eyes, nose, mouth and ears are closed, but the heart is not closed. Where do you put your Buddha? Is it on the desk at your fingertips, on the distant mountains out of reach, or in your heart?

There is the concept of "reincarnation" in Buddhism. Does it also mean that the roots of human inferiority never change: killing, desire. The shots are beautiful, quiet and elegant like ink paintings.
