No mental shock of lies - would you like to try it?

Is a world without lies acceptable to you? At the beginning of the movie, our lovely Uncle Ricky gave us a visual and auditory impact, a world that only tells the truth. When I first watched it, I didn’t know if you would adapt. As someone who has been nurtured in traditional politeness for many years, I feel a great impact. Thinking about when you don't want to go to work, in bed, you may say, "Oh, TMD, I just don't want to go to work." When you say: "You are so ugly, I don't want to meet you", "You really make me feel so disgusting", can you accept it readily when you hear these words? Especially when you hear Jennifer open the door and say "I was just masturbating...", if it were you, would you really have a buzzing sound in your head?

Maybe, we've gotten used to the "polite" greetings, "you're so pretty today", "oh, it's so nice to meet you", "no, I don't think so, you're actually pretty nice", hear These, do you feel better, or normal, I think so. So when all you hear is the truth, you feel abnormal, and maybe that's what Uncle Ricky wants to give us, a so-called "real" world we want. Facing this world, we will feel that something is missing, or at least it will feel imperfect, and even feel that the film itself is contradictory. Without lies, some aspects of our society and work will disappear, such as lawyers, Journalists, gambling, magic, religion, etc., without these, is our world still the world? Hehe

born to survive - all to survive

Therefore, we are more concerned about how lies are born. I am very anxious and eager to see the birth of lies. At first, I thought that lies were born for love or for work, but I was wrong. If you think about it carefully, if a lie is created for the sake of spiritual things, the value of the lie is only in that it can soothe your wounded heart and save your weak fantasy. In the end, a lie is born for its real value. As Lao Ma said, the premise of everything is survival. That's right, a lie is born for survival. The protagonist told the first lie in order to survive in the bank. It was a simple lie for survival, and it was produced in a specific situation where the lie could not be discovered, and it happened so naturally. I think, if it weren't for the failure of the machine, if it wasn't for the pressure of survival, this lie would never have been born, and everything just appeared so naturally, how natural, huh, for those of us who often hang up "good faith" lies For people who talk about it, it is natural that

from this point of view, a lie has become a simple survival need. After the material, it becomes the spirit. Since a world where lies can be used to survive has appeared, what should we pursue higher? Undoubtedly, it has become a spiritual pursuit. Looking at the sorrow and sadness of his mother before she passed away, Uncle Ricky started his own fabrications, trying to make her mother leave this sad world happily. The pure nature of her nature bloomed at this moment, showing the beauty of lies.

The creator of the lie has to do a series of work to perfect the lie, that is, you make a lie, and you have to prepare more lies for this lie as support - the birth of religion,

but a lie is a lie, and the true lie also needs support , I remember there was such a classic saying, for a lie, you have to tell more lies, the purpose is to prove that you are telling the truth. Undoubtedly, Uncle Ricky found trouble for himself. He began to tell more and more lies. In order to improve his lying system, Oh! The Heavenly Man appeared, and the Ten Commandments appeared. I often think, could this be the history of the birth of religion? ? The boxes of the two PIZZA cakes are the "slates" of the Ten Commandments. A religion was born, and a religion was born by lying. I think there are many things born like this in this world, right?

The end of lies - some things are facts. Lies deceive others. What they can't deceive is that they are

as expected. In the end, they are still so idealistic. Lies meet love, and one of the most contradictory items is revealed in front of us. In reality, a pair of old enemies, who have the opposite of winning and losing, will undoubtedly have a conclusion in the movie, and there is no doubt that the most spiritual issue of love has overcome our lies. Maybe it's someone else who lies and deceives, but the ultimate lie is to deceive himself. Uncle can't deceive himself. Faced with the lie, he finally gave up. God, what a temptation, is it just to show that the lie can't overcome his love and heart? It can only be said that Uncle Ricky, you are out!

But in short, it gave us a relatively perfect ending. Thinking about it, maybe this movie itself is a great lie, hahahaha, don't think about it, think too much, why is it not a lie?

The story is very good. The world without lies is really scary. Watching this film reminds me of "The Truman World".

The Invention of Lying quotes

  • Brad Kessler: Shelley thinks you're an overweight homosexual.

    Shelley: I didn't say that!

    Mark Bellison: [relieved] Oh.

Shelley: No, I said you were a fat faggot.

Brad Kessler: [to Shelley] I stand corrected.

Mark Bellison: To think I was upset by "overweight homosexual".

Shelley: A fatty fat faggy fag...

Brad Kessler: [to Mark] Oh, well. It doesn't matter. Because either way you're a dumpy little queer.

  • [first lines]

Mark Bellison: [narrating] Testing. Testing. Testing over the credits. The credits that no one cares about.

    [under his breathe]

Mark Bellison: "Ooh, we're the business people. Ooh, we want our credit before the film starts, 'cause..."

Mark Bellison: Anyway. The story you're about to see takes place in a world where the human race has never evolved the ability to tell a lie. This is a typical town in that world. As you can see, people have jobs and cars and houses and families, but everyone tells the absolute truth. There's no such thing as deceit or flattery or fiction. People say exactly what they think. And sometimes that can come across as a bit harsh. But they've got no choice in the matter. It's their nature.

Man: [on the phone] Look, I'm not coming in to work today. No, I'm not sick. I just hate it there.

Woman: Oh, your baby is so ugly. It's like a little rat.

Woman at Restaurant: [sitting down] Wow! I just took one of the biggest poops of my whole life. What are you ordering?
