unimaginable conundrum

Simply put, the film is a question: If a nuclear bomb is about to explode, will you do anything to deal with the captured terrorist and ask him to explain the location of the bomb? In order to highlight this test question, the director chose to make the film highly centralized: the terrorists have been arrested from the beginning, and the US military, FBI, CIA, and thugs who do dirty work for the government are all in their places. In general, the focus of anti-terrorist thrillers is how to fight with terrorists and finally capture them to find the bomb. The dramatic conflict of this film is not about the bomb itself, but how to deal with a person who may have set the bomb. Others, such as the Muslim issue, torture of prisoners, etc., simply add contemporary context to this ancient moral dilemma.
The film is extremely straightforward and does not shy away from torture to extract confessions. The bloody and cruel picture brings a strong impact to the audience, especially at the end, when the two children of the terrorist Younger were pulled into the torture room by the thugs, the tension could not help but make you nervous and nervous: you must immediately make Choice, the nature of thought will be presented in an instant.
Unfortunately, under the tough, tense, and heavy surface, the film lacks a solid foundation. You can't see the psychological motivation behind the behavior of Younger, the thug and the FBI female agent. Everyone is just this test. It's just the symbol for the title. Just like the multiple-choice questions on an exam paper, four options can never sum up all the choices in life.
