Youth Shake Shake Shake

There is no youth and no rock. The Americans made Woodstock 50 years ago, and China also made Midi today. The drums of rock and roll were played all over the world.

Ang Lee made a rock biblical story in the least rock-and-roll way. Moderate. But one thing is obvious, using the lens of Brokeback Mountain to describe a completely different history of hippies, always trying to talk about it and force the vicissitudes of life. This is not bad, after all, this kind of beautiful and slightly realistic picture can indeed cover up a lot of emptiness, but "Making" shows another kind of family relationship that has almost nothing to do with rock. This kind of Chinese family-style mood like "The Wedding Banquet" is a bit difficult to adapt to. After all, Woodstock is a purely Western-style product, and its temperament does not match.

Of course, none of this undermines the unity of the story, which is good considering the mix and conflict of styles. Besides, as a pseudo-literary and pseudo-angry youth, I actually appreciate this feeling. Because there is a thing in this world called resonance, you know.

Ang Lee is getting more and more moisturizing, and this time he basically gave up the narrative. The first ten minutes, especially the first three and a half minutes, must be seized. "I'm the only one here, out of hundreds and hundreds and hundreds of thousands of people, who's having breakfast with his parents!"
