It is difficult to give a good evaluation to this film, but I can only feel that the progress of the film industry has dwarfed many old films. Sunglasses, black leather jackets, and roaring motorcycles were the coolest outfits of the era, and it represented that era was also buried with the era.
Americans hate Japanese, (especially the image of Hepburn's Japanese neighbor in Breakfast at Tiffany's is the worst) Chinese people don't like Japanese, and the Japanese devils in the film make me feel that Japanese like suicide is the most self-aware move.
Needless to say, the plot of this film is old-fashioned, and the characterization is not successful. Sato is a ruthless face, and Takakura Ken’s cowardice may only be appreciated by the Japanese. Douglas is still a successful businessman. Beheaded by the devil with a knife, a little miserable.
