The Lost: The 9th Eagle War and Peace

The literary giant Tolstoy once wrote the masterpiece "War and Peace", and when I watched this film, the first feeling was also about the issue of war and peace.
There are basically two types of wars in history: wars of aggression and just wars against aggression. In order to expand its territory, the ancient Roman Empire plundered other people's resources, and launched wars of aggression. "Lost: The Ninth Eagles" is a story about the Roman Empire's invasion of Britain in more than 100 AD.
In order to restore the family reputation destroyed by his missing father, the protagonist came to the British front line, took the British slaves he rescued, and embarked on a journey to find the eagle emblem of the 9th Eagle Regiment, which was led by his father and disappeared for no reason. After experiencing all kinds of hardships on the road, finally with the help of the slave, he found the lost eagle emblem, restored the family's reputation, and established a deep friendship with the slave at the same time.
The story of the film is very exciting, the historical war theme, the plot twists, and the process is intense. But after watching the film, I felt a little different from the beginning to the end, as if the theme of the film was beautifying the war of aggression in the Roman Empire. Until the end of the film, the protagonist, after a arduous final battle and victory with the help of slaves, repented and realized the true meaning of war. In fact, a war for peace is a just war, and only then can the final victory be achieved. .
The above are all my personal opinions, aside from these, this movie is still a good movie, it is indeed worth watching~~
