Emotions are controlled by external entities, and people are captives of emotions, either from the senses or from the intellect. Everything in life is an illusion, but it is because of the common that you feel it is real. What is actually real? Freedom is a paradox, a person cannot be completely free, at least he has his own limitations.
But a person can choose independently, living in the reality known to everyone or in the fantasy world created by himself, which has nothing to do with others.
The choice is helpless, and the life away from reality is painful. We look for an exit through chaos. We can go crazy, sink, and fall.
It's just one way.
