That kills the sense of security

I went to the cinema to watch Titanic a few days ago. I don’t believe in love, and I’m rarely touched by it. I didn’t even finish watching this film many years ago. When the 3D version came out, I wanted to see the three-dimensional version. The Titanic crashing into the sea must have been spectacular, so here goes. Sure enough, after reading it, in the midst of crying, I left the corner of my eye dry. And last night, when I watched this movie with my little notebook, I cried so much that I couldn't control it.
Gia has always longed to be loved. When she is loved, she is cute, brave and strong. When she does not feel loved, she is vulnerable. Later, she chose drugs, and then she was addicted to it. . I figured those moments must be the hell she was talking about, sniffing drugs like a dog while loathing her depraved appearance. Later in the film, Gia keeps a pocket knife, which gives her a sense of security. She believes that as long as this knife is there, she will be able to fight back and protect herself when others hurt her. When she found out that she had AIDS, she was calm, she no longer had to worry about no one to love, no need to worry about work and achievements, her mother was also by her side, she could die like a little girl.

In line with most souls who die young, the film has created a tragic atmosphere from the very beginning. Julie uses sexiness as a weapon, and in fact Gia herself is much softer and brighter. What made my heart hurt and lost was Gia herself. In her eyes, I could see the reason why she did all this, and the gesture that she did not need to be forgiven.

The last twenty minutes are very teary. "I plan to buy a house by the sea, and then we...restart." Maybe they are really now, living a quiet and happy life in that house, without drugs or pain. Julie is wild and charming, and there is a cute little GIA. I think she looks like Mila Kounis, but she really turned out to be when she was a child!

Gia quotes

  • Maurice: She hated to be photographed. You had to run after her and tie her down. And you had to get past all the junk in her hair. But she was special.

  • Gia Carangi: Look, this was a free trip to New York. If I had known you were looking for Marcia fucking Brady, I woulda stayed home.
