We Bought a Zoo (2011)

to watch the movie downloaded by beautiful Scarlett Johansson. After the R3 subtitles came out, it took a long time to finish reading it.

The film tells the story of a man who leads his family to buy the zoo and all the staff work together to create greater glories. After the actor's wife died, his son was dropped out of school, and the neighbors were still very noisy, which made the actor think of moving. The male protagonist and his little daughter fell in love with a place when they were looking at the house, but this place was a zoo that was on the verge of bankruptcy. After thinking for a while, the actor decided to buy the zoo. Later, the male protagonist moved to the zoo with his son and daughter, lived and worked with the zoo staff, and prepared for the reopening of the zoo. At work, the male protagonist is gradually familiar with animals and the employees, and his son also met a beautiful girl. After a period of time, zoo inspectors found a lot of problems, and solving these problems made the actor unable to make ends meet. Afterwards, the female accountant told everyone the truth-the male protagonist had no money. Just at this time, the hero found that his wife had left a deposit for him, so the zoo began to operate again. A tiger in the zoo is getting old, and the hero does not want to give up. With the persuasion of the beautiful female staff, the hero agrees to euthanize it. The opening day of the zoo came. Although it rained heavily for several days and the road in front of the zoo was blocked by fallen trees, people still came in an endless stream, and the zoo was a success.

This film is a Hollywood inspirational movie, so the movie is numb to watch. The mode of the movie is nothing more than setting a man or woman who has suffered setbacks in life. When he is suffering from great psychological or physical torture, he encounters something that can change him, and then finds his life again by himself or with the help of others. hope, and so on. There's really nothing interesting about such a clichéd story. Except for the slightly different characters, this type of film is the same in other places. This film puts the background of the story in the zoo. So, the movie didn't give me any deep feeling, I just felt it was boring: Americans are always in pain to find something to do, and they always make a movie, which really leaves me speechless. !

Based on the above reasons, I won't say much about this film, because the story process of this type of film is always the same, and the results are also happy, it is meaningless to say or not. Just a few words about what impressed me the most about the movie. There are three points in this regard, one is the music of the film, the other is the cute animals in the film, and the third is the bright picture of the film. The first aspect of the film's music is quite in-ear. The movie uses a lot of lyrical or mid-level music to express the atmosphere of the plot, which makes the process of watching the movie very comfortable and warm. In the second aspect, the cute animals in the movie make people feel the wonder of nature, which is also the only unique feature of this movie-the more people watch it, the fresher it becomes when watching animals. Thirdly, the picture of the film is pleasing to the eye. Most of the scenes in the film are bright natural light. These pictures match the natural atmosphere in the film, making the whole film look particularly comfortable, compared to watching those depressing dark-tone films. Much more comfortable. The above three points are the impression the film left on me. Other aspects of the film are too popular, which makes people feel more depressed the more they watch it.

Finally, I have to say that this film is too emotional, especially in the last 30 minutes, the pictures, the music, and the expressions of the characters, I can't wait to force the audience's tears out, it's too much. An inspirational movie is not like that. Seeing this scene makes me laugh and cry, the writers and directors are too hard.

The actor's face, except for the cute little daughter who plays the role, is very ordinary. Matt Damon, Scarlett Johansson, Elle Fanning, Thomas Haden Church and other big-name or well-known actors performed really average, not too brilliant, only dedicated 30% of their acting skills. I came here to see Scarlett Johansson, but she is only a supporting role in this film, with not many scenes, not many scenes, and very rustic dress, which disappointed me! Only the little girl played by Maggie Elizabeth Jones impressed me, not because of her acting, but because she was so cute. Others are tricks, not to mention.

in conclusion. A clichéd American inspirational story, although very moving, is overly emotional and looks very uncomfortable. The performance of several big-name stars is also unsatisfactory, and the plot is even more cliché. So, this is a Hollywood assembly line movie that you can watch or not watch.

We Bought a Zoo quotes

  • Dylan Mee: I get it now, okay? I get why you can't stand me!

    Benjamin Mee: Okay. All right.

Dylan Mee: No. At least now I know the real reason why you hate me! Look, I heard you admit it to her! Like you were talking about cornflakes. You hate me!

    [rushes up the stairs]

Benjamin Mee: I hate you? Wait second.

    [follows Dylan]

Benjamin Mee: Okay, we've had some problems, man, but we've figuring it out, okay?

Dylan Mee: Oh, that is bullshit! Admit it! You wish I wasn't here! With that expression in my eyes? I heard you!

Benjamin Mee: Hold on! Enough with the drama, all right? Knock it off! You misheard me!

Dylan Mee: I can't stand it here! Look, can't you see that?

Benjamin Mee: No, but thank you for telling me, again! I keep forgetting, it's all about you!

    [Dylan looks a little guilty]

Benjamin Mee: Why don't I just pack us up? We'll just go on the road together. We could be hobos.

Dylan Mee: Because you wasted all our money! Some of that belonged to me, Dad!

Benjamin Mee: I didn't waste our money. I thought you liked it here. And I'm sorry, I thought your friends would come out and visit you, man. I called them all myself and I invited them. And I'm sorry, I thought you and Lily were friends. I thought, I thought, I thought, I thought this was... I mean, I thought you liked me! I thought this was a dream come true for all of us.

Dylan Mee: It's your dream! You can't force a dream on someone else, Dad!

Benjamin Mee: Yes, I can, I can force a dream on you!

Dylan Mee: Why are you yelling?

Benjamin Mee: [exploding] Because it's a good dream! And it's got cool animals in it and some pretty great people, too!

[Dylan is now on the verge of crying]

Benjamin Mee: And because I'm your father and I'm the only one you've got! And the line of people in this world who really care about you ends here! So stop moping around this place, man! And pick up a shovel and dig a hole! Do something! You just sit here and feel sorry for yourself, man! Help me with your sister! Help me, damn it!

Dylan Mee: [now really crying] Help me, damn it! Help me!

[Benjamin and Dylan finally stop the argument to look at each other. Benjamin sighs]

Benjamin Mee: [calmer] I'm sorry that your mother got sick when she did. Believe me. I'm sorry that you didn't get more of a childhood, man. That's just how that one went. But we live here with a seven-year-old girl who still believes in the Easter Bunny. What are we gonna do?

Dylan Mee: You never ask me how I'm doing. You never even taught me how to shave.

[walks away into his room. Benjamin follows him]

Benjamin Mee: [through the door] Wait, you wanna know how to shave? I would love to teach you how to shave! Let's shave!

  • Benjamin Mee: What happened with you and Lily?

Dylan Mee: I don't know. I guess I didn't listen to something she told me or something? I mean, I liked her. It's like you embarrass yourself if you say something, and you embarrass yourself if you don't.

[Benjamin chuckles. Dylan smiles as well]

Benjamin Mee: I like it when you talk. You know, sometimes all you need is 20 seconds of insane courage. Just, literally, 20 seconds of just embarrassing bravery. And I promise you, something great will come of it.

[Dylan looks thoughtful, but doesn't say anything for a while]

Dylan Mee: I never know what to say to you.

Benjamin Mee: I'm the same way. Why don't we just tell each other what we wish the other guy would say?

Dylan Mee: "I'm sorry I brought you out to the sticks."

Benjamin Mee: "You're a great dad."

    [both Dylan and Benjamin laugh]
