The center of the whole film is actually the conversation between the male protagonist and the priest in the garden after killing the Swede. The priest said: "You have to believe in the existence of hell, it is a world without love! …what do you have? my friend." These inspirations kept a killer awake at night, and he has been living a life without love day? How is it different from hell? He had already rejected Clara's request to be together forever, but this time he hesitated, he didn't want to live like that anymore...
