How to understand the beginning and the end?

At the beginning of the film, the technical man smiled and said, "There is a story about me."
Could he be a whistleblower? Otherwise, how could he get out of prison and return to society? You must know that jailbreaking is a felony, and you must also know that he is a felon, otherwise why would he take pains to escape from prison? Heavy sentence + jailbreak, he may even die in prison!

At the end, Xiaobailian was sent to other prison cells. What is this scene telling people? To tell us he was a whistleblower? Or is it that the warden is very smart and deliberately makes everyone think that he is telling the secret? What did the cry when he was caught represent?

Xiaobailian may be the whistleblower, because his wife "seems" to withdraw the complaint. But, who can explain how the technical man in the title can return to society? And look about the same age as when you escaped? ? ! ! !
