What would you do if one day you found out that your imaginary goddess appeared in front of you, and you could control everything about her? This movie is just that. Talented writer Kevin created his own satisfactory girlfriend image Ruby in his book, and really fell in love with her in reality.•••Every man hopes to have a 100% girlfriend that is exclusive to him. In Kevin, we will find some shadows of ourselves more or less, but a hundred girlfriends are impossible to exist.•••Kevin is constantly re-creating Ruby's character while he is also suffering huge pains.•••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••••• ••Unfortunately, eventually even the fictional Ruby left Kevin. A lot of women won't stop for you because of how much you love her, they just seem to keep going after what they want. Butterflies, flowers, and that romance when she doesn't think you're worth it anymore. She will jump into the arms of others happily without mercy.•••Until one day, she is tired•••decided to rest•••will sit down and marry the man who was with her at that time••• At the end of the movie, Kevin also finds a new love, but this girl is exactly the same as Rupee. The road still has to go down in the end, but in the end who can let go of the woman he loved so much? It's nothing more than looking for the shadow of the past.•••

Love and writing are magic. If every word you type can become true, then you should not see me anymore, because I have gone to another time and space. A small fresh love film, not heavy, very fresh.

The story is very innovative. Kevin gave Ruby the freedom and the truth while also giving them a chance to come back. There is no perfect lover, and if there is, it is just falling in love with one's own fantasy.

Ruby Sparks quotes

  • Calvin Weir-Fields: I'm sorry for every word I wrote to change you. I'm sorry for so many things. I couldn't see you when you were here. And now that you're gone, I see you everywhere. One may read this and think it's magic, but falling in love is an act of magic. So is writing. It was once said of Catcher in the Rye, that rare miracle of fiction has again come to pass. A human being has been created out of ink, paper and imagination.

  • Calvin Weir-Fields: I can't write anymore!

Harry: Sure you can; that's what you have over every other poor schmuck out there, with a broken heart.

Calvin Weir-Fields: Who'd wanna read that?

Harry: Lot's of people! Why not? You've got a pretty good story.
