Everyone has a Jane Austen in their hearts

Just as every woman has a Mr. Darcy in her heart, naturally, Jane Austen's book fans, everyone has their own Jane Austen in their hearts. But in life, how can there really be Mr. Darcy waiting for you, most of them are only husbands who don't understand the style, thinking that Austen is just the capital of which state, and expecting him to read poetry to you affectionately? Or the husband who has been married for 20 years tells you that he is having an affair, that he is still a colleague in his early 40s, and even worse, he is still shopping at the same supermarket as you! There is also a girlfriend who believes that celibacy is freedom, Austen is not and never married! ? Such things, how can life have ups and downs in books? Austen slyly arranged everything in the book, watching people in reality constantly hesitate, struggle, test, lose, rejoice, until they are fulfilled. At least, most of the Austen I've seen are complete.
Six people, six books, "Emma", "Northanger Abbey", "Sheffield Manor", "Pride and Prejudice", "Sense and Sensibility", "Persuasion", read from February to June, from winter to spring. The ending is too happy and heartwarming.
In fact, Austen himself is not perfect enough. If you don't believe me, go to "Becoming Jane".

Are there really only 6 of Austen's novels? Hehe... My favorite is Pride and Prejudice, so she probably wrote it when she was in the best mood.

The Jane Austen Book Club quotes

  • Jocelyn: If we stay in this lane, we're going to be late.

Grigg Harris: Given that I have to convert donut grease into biofuel every time I fill up the tank, I try not to drive very fast.

Jocelyn: We're barely moving... Why are you getting off here?

Grigg Harris: I enjoy seeing the river.

Jocelyn: What are you, Mark Twain? Now we're gonna get stuck at every light.

  • Grigg Harris: What about me? Am I your friend? Or am I just some... some widget to help you make Sylvia feel better about herself? Why did you invite me to be part of your book club? No, what went through your mind the first time you saw me? "There's a man who is *dying* to read every book Jane Austen ever wrote." Is that what you thought?

    Jocelyn: No.

Grigg Harris: But I thought, "What a beautiful woman. I hope she looks over at me." I thought if I read your favorite books that you would read mine. But no... no, no. You just want to be obeyed. That's why you have dogs.
