The film is cleverly conceived and the plot is thought-provoking, and it's hard to spot the finer details without careful thought. After watching the movie, I have my own different opinions, which I would like to share with you. From the photos of American warships, from 1945 to 1959, the Soviet Union and the United States were doing the same time and space transportation experiments, and the experimenters would have different mutations after the experiment. The most influential mutation is that the hero and heroine walked through the insect Dong, traveled to 1959, because they not only changed in shape, but also possessed wisdom and activity, that is, resurrection. Because the Soviet soldier in 1959 said, "They don't see any difference from the rest." This means that it's not just the two of them that have mutated, but those who "died in the line of duty" (the experimenter who walked through the wormhole) ) also mutated, but they were all dead, immobile, and eventually burned. The burned skeletons in the film lab are all these experimenters.
When the protagonist of the film just arrived at the top of the mountain, he discovered some strange phenomena, such as the malfunction of GPS, compass and other instruments, and arrived at the destination much earlier. These anomalies were not found in the first few days of climbing, so it can be inferred that they were affected by the wormhole when they entered the destination area. The protagonist's arrival and Darloff's arrival are on the same day of the year, just a few decades apart. So I guess they are in the same spatial dimension, but not in the same time dimension. In 1959, Dalof and others climbed the mountain and arrived at the place to camp, next to the secret laboratory of the Soviet Union. In order to prevent the laboratory from being discovered, the army used means to cause the illusion of an avalanche death. This is how Dalof and others died. During the avalanche, the protagonist and others who were decades later were also affected by the avalanche and suffered, and were "driven" into the laboratory. At this time, the laboratory was already empty, and there were only two mutants. In fact, their bodies were the hero and heroine. If they kill the protagonist, the mutants can't form, the so-called "paradox". Therefore, the hero and heroine were driven into the entrance of the wormhole and forced to enter the wormhole, so that the mutants would have a source to avoid the emergence of paradoxes.
When the hero and heroine entered the wormhole, they arrived in 1959, appearing in a strange appearance, and at the same time the camera was brought over. When people searched for the remains of Darloff and his party in 1959, the young old lady in the film discovered the mutants of the hero and heroine, as well as the "machine" (camera). The male and female protagonists are the two extra people, but the military took away the two bodies and cameras in order to keep the experiment secret. And when the two mutants resurrected the bloodbath laboratory, the military gave up and blocked the laboratory, and sent people to guard it. The soldier with his tongue cut off in the film may be one of them, and the mutants use that tongue to warn climbers not to step into their territory. The shooter that the protagonist encountered after the avalanche was probably a soldier guarding the laboratory, in order to prevent the exposure of the laboratory.
As for that camera, it also belongs to the object that passes through the wormhole and also has the ability to travel through time and space. With the camera always on, the heroine was recorded all the way through the lab, then teleported back to 1959, where their mutants were recorded destroying the lab, before they ran out of power, teleported back to the wormhole. Decades later, it was discovered by the protagonist at the time. In this way, the protagonist can see himself in the video, but he cannot see the last scene (and the most important scene) due to the battery.
Question 1: In the TV report at the beginning of the film, how did the staff obtain the recording equipment of the climbers? How did the "conspiracy leaked climber" get the footage of the protagonist in front of the wormhole? The only possible scenario is that the mutant has an IQ and the ability to upload videos online. And the footprints that appeared out of thin air on the snow, as well as bringing soldiers into the laboratory and cutting their tongues are scary, indicating that they can freely enter and leave the abandoned laboratory, it should be time and space teleportation.
Question 2: All members of the Dalov Mountaineering team died of hypothermia, while several suffered severe fractures. Another person was exposed to intense nuclear radiation, and another had his tongue cut off. How is this caused? This means that at least one person has entered the military's laboratory, which means that they have had contact with the military. There is a possibility that the team members were beaten to death. And the mutants of the hero and heroine who were sent back cut off the tongue of one person, which is also in line with their style of cutting the tongue of the soldier. If the Fracture Board members were killed by mutants, how could the radiation exposure be explained?
