Damn, what a gloomy movie! Absolutely great movie! But after reading it, I feel very, very uncomfortable, so I won't give it five stars! So depressing! The road to redemption of the soul of a poor wicked person and the road to the destruction of the other's soul by a vengeful woman are terrible!

This time, Kim Ki-duk finally digs out the cruel side of human nature thoroughly. The darkness of this world is beyond our imagination. The Golden Lion deserves the best picture. It is heavy to watch.
