A good movie is not only entertaining, but also thought-provoking. The Cagliari, who are still living in primitive tribes in the African desert today, are not only an excellent example for sociologists, but their freedom, carelessness, and happiness contrast with the life of the city people not far away. People reflect on the meaning of life. Are the complex values and complex constraints that accompany modern, highly human civilizations universal, or are they specific to a certain culture? (No) Will the "simple pleasures" of primitive people inevitably evolve into complex civilizations? (No) To what extent does the development of a civilization depend on its environment? How can human societies with different levels of development still understand and communicate with each other? (Intellectual basis and emotion)
Even as a pure comedy, the film is a success. The adventures of zoologists, mechanics, journalists, indigenous people, and insurgents in the harsh but still alive African Gobi. The witty and capable zoologist is nervous and clumsy in front of the beautiful reporter, which is really a great joy to watch this movie.
