In Greek mythology, Hercules was the son of Zeus, a demigod, born of Alcmene, who became incomparably powerful by sucking Hera's milk. It was revealed when Hera's jealousy tried to let the snake kill her. And this is the beginning of the whole film.
Hercules was sent to accomplish the twelve great feats, beheaded the Hydra, and killed the Lion King. These stories became the songs sung by the bard, and became the indelible hero image in people's hearts. Even, just hearing his name is morale-boosting and terrifying. However, he has a past that he can't look back on, has an illusion that has always tormented him, and even bleeds and hurts like a mortal.
Hercules in the film is not an omnipotent god, he is braver, stronger, more fearless than others, and also loves his team more. He will tell everyone who regards him as a god, because there is my partner and there is my legend. He will try to dismiss his partners when he is about to go into danger, only to get the answer that we only want to follow you and die for you.
And the most impressive thing is that after he was arrested by Eurystheus, he saw the truth of the inner demon that the three-headed dog of hell remembered. Under the interrogation of the great prophet Amphiaraus, he faced his inner demon and shouted that Sentence I'm Hercules!
Not half human, not hero, not legend, not myth, just myself. No matter what I am facing, facing the twelve great achievements, or facing difficulties, I am my own belief.
Hercules' life was celebrated and sung because all people needed was faith. There is no need for gods or demigods, as long as what they see, the power you can show is shocking enough to make people look up, you are a god!
The film is a disturbed Greek mythology, but this kind of film should not be entangled with such strict logic. 3D effect is good. Facial blindness makes the king and the general a little confused... Four stars, for the blood of this film, for the inseparable team spirit, for I'm Hercules.
