[Random Bullets] Feitian Sword Dance, also talk about some regrets in the Kyoto fire chapter

First of all, it must be said that "The Great Fire" together with the first part before it is an excellent work of animation adaptation of a real person, a work of conscience. Not only is the degree of restoration extremely high, but there is little sense of violation. At least it looks fun and dripping, pleasing to the eye and not exaggerated and deformed. Old fans are also one-sided in praise, not the slightest dissatisfaction. This is also inseparable from Sato's hard work and the outstanding performance of a large group of powerful actors in the supporting roles. What is commendable about the movie is that the story of "The Great Fire" is compact and can condense so many episodes in the animation into more than 2 hours, and the director's skill is comparable to that of The Hobbit.

It is a pity that, in my opinion as an old fan, "The Great Fire", either due to the condensed content or for some unknown reason, did not adopt the original animation settings in the processing of some details, which resulted in the expression of the movie. It is a pity that the content is not sufficient. The following will briefly list a few places for everyone to discuss:

1) Zhi Zhixiong was trapped there by the reformists. First of all, the chief secretary of Okita, oh no, the reason why Xixio Sangma was killed is unknown. The original book clearly stated that the reformists saw the ambition hidden in the ambition, so they waited for the opportunity to remove it, and it became a movie in the movie. The Meiji government killed people! Since it was silenced, why was Jianxin not killed? Okubo said it was Kenshin who picked up the "living sword". This is where the contradiction comes. If it was because the Meiji government saw that Zhi Zhixiong was a careerist, he planned to kill him, then it would be understandable to keep the surviving person Kenshin, but if it was because of the silence, why should he keep Kenshin alive?

2) Then there is the way of "killing" Zhi Zhixiong. The original book is a pure "fire attack", so it's normal for Zhi Zhixiong to escape from the fire and not die in the end (but with extensive burns); in the movie, he was barreled into a honeycomb, and with a fire, he couldn't burn to death. ?

3) In the "Zhenda" battle, the "Zhenda" white wooden hilt, which was used as the Imperial Sword in the original book, was broken by the heart of the sword, and then the sword inscription of Qingkong was displayed. Kenshin went from despair to surprise to learning the whole truth in one go. The film's processing method is not only time-consuming but also does not reflect the power of Kenshin's "killing sword" (the hilt is shattered).

4) In the original book, Sanosuke is a lunatic. It is very interesting to use the police to come to Kyoto in a deliberate crime. I don’t know why the movie is not used.

5) In fact, Sasuke was caught at the Kyoto Police Station, was found and released by Saito, and the "broom head VS cock head" staged by Sasuke to interrogate the sword is a classic. At the same time, it embodies the single cell of Sazhi, the cunning of Mibu wolf and the achievements of Sazhi's cultivation on the road (I don't know how to show the duel between Zuanosuke and his teacher Pluto Anchi in the next episode).

6) Next, of course, is the process of the Kenshin team discovering the Purgatory. Purgatory was not chased by Kenshin Chasing, but was discovered through Kenshin Feitian Yujianliu's analysis and Saitoichi's organizational ability. And the one who smashed the plan of bombing Tokyo, and the one who finally destroyed purgatory, was Sasuke, who had never paid attention to Shi Zhixiong before. These are the original classics. The adaptation of the film does not reflect these essences of the original book at all. When Kaoru Kamiya was kidnapped and taken to the Purgatory, it could only be seen that Zhi Zhixiong was so clueless that he was afraid that the enemy would not discover his surprise attack plan.

7) Komagata Yumi's casting did find a beautiful woman, and it is not an exaggeration to call it an oiran. It's just that Yumi Komagata in the original book is actually a very pitiful person, an infatuated woman who loves Zhi Zhixiong deeply. She behaves decently and is not hateful. A few hints that the original Yumi Komagata was actually a pretty good woman if it weren't for Shishio. Why does Yumi Komagata in the movie feel like a bad woman?

8) Sojiro just made it look alike. No matter how you look at it, it's not that cute boy with an innocent face, a smile on the corner of his mouth, and a smirk and Zhi Zhixiong's motto to seal his heart. I know I'm a bit nitpicky when I say this, but the movie version doesn't look like the cute boy named "Tianjian" in my mind.

When I watched Japanese fights before, it either turned into a sword and halberd film, or it felt like a special shot. It felt like a real action. This should be the first one.

Hey, you should take some history lessons to understand. In short, the deck fight is very similar to the scene on the spring rain.
