"Birdman" 1984. I thought it was Birdman at the 2015 Oscars, but I accidentally watched this old movie from 1984, 30 years ago. I am very grateful for this movie, it gave me all kinds of touching, all kinds of taste conflict in my stomach, and even turned into tears and filled my eyes. This is a story about youth. Two 18-year-old boys in small American towns enjoy their youth in different ways, some play, play, pick girls, while the other face the world with surprising simplicity. Pin the best youth and the best dreams on birds that can fly freely. They are the best bodies and mates of each other's souls. Although they sometimes do not understand, they never give up each other's company and support because of love. They did so many things together, wearing clothes made of bird feathers, raising pigeons, buying cars. . . In the same way, they also lost almost everything, youth, health, and hope because of a war. . The cruel side of the world destroyed their original innocence, and their lives changed beyond recognition.

The final accusation seems powerless. Only the content that cannot be told through the camera will be captured by the lines/The part involved in the war is very chaotic and exciting at the beginning/At the end, there is a shadow of flying over the madhouse/I like birds. What kind? They can fly . That's enough.

Cage has always had problems choosing roles. Obviously it's not his tone and he has to play it again. "Birdy" and "Weatherman" should be very good-looking. He played it like this.

Birdy quotes

  • Sergeant Al Columbato: Maybe life is shitty. It is shitty. I'll tell you something. I'm not trying to pin life anymore. I don't even fucking understand it. I just want to make it through with some dignity, like everybody else. Of course, if there was any real dignity, there wouldn't be any sex.

  • Birdy: In a dream, I'm trying to decide what I am. When I sleep I'm giving myself strength. I'm reaching for the force to fly. Perta waits, cups herself to receive me. I hover then lower myself into her. Perta and I become one. I see through her eyes, fly on her wings. I am no longer alone.
