This movie called #LaborDay labor day #, as the name suggests, is a story that takes place during the labor day holiday, starring my favorite actress - Kate Winslet, in the film she plays a divorced mother with a son, due to a failed marriage. But they are withdrawn, until they meet a fugitive played by Joshbrolin, and the two have a wonderful relationship. The seemingly ordinary plot was made wonderful by the rivalry between KateWinslet and Joshbrolin, and the director also used a strange story to explore the emotional and family relationship between men and women. The story is a little sad but warm. Worth recommending this one!

Let's not talk about this bloody love mainline, the plot is so thin that it has to frequently switch and flash back to create conflicts, which is not only abrupt, but also destroys the integrity of the story. Kate is also unable to play due to script limitations, and it is no exaggeration to say that it is Jason Reitman's worst work so far. It turned out that the narrator was Tobey Maguire, no wonder it felt so familiar.

Not every director is capable of all types of films, and Jason Reitman is more suitable for light comedy films, and it doesn't feel good to change to such a slightly heavy subject matter. Telling the story from a child's perspective seriously weakens the drama of the two adults. It is purely supported by performance, and the second half of the story is overly sensational. Kate Winslet's performance is still high, but the repetition of past roles is too high.
