Talk about madness and great ideals

Great ideals don't always come to great people, but they must come to crazy people. But madness can also be divided into inner madness and madness ignited by ideals. The latter dares to break the shackles, while the former always has genes that break everything in its bones. In this film about the first all-girl rock band, two kinds of madness drive the same great ideal.
You have to be proud enough in your eyes to be worthy of the middle finger of the vertical world. Cherie's madness comes from the root and is hysterical, and it can only be said that luck coincides with an ideal. She is willing to fight for this ideal, but this ideal is crazy enough to let the madness in her heart vent. And this with the heyday of the band, this ideal can no longer satisfy her madness, because outright madness always comes from the opinions of thousands of people, and there is only confusion in the place of praise. So her madness spread uncontrollably, taking drugs and alcohol. The pleasure of breaking herself is almost the same as breaking the shackles. When an impure ideal is mixed with a chaotic life, no matter how great the ideal is, it cannot hold back the pace of decline.
But pure enough ideals can give faith to all floating madness. John is the most devout believer in this great ideal. She would rather endure gender humiliation. She would rather obey a perverted and strict manager. She just wants to put aside the soft lyricism, plug in the guitar, and yell at the world. Voice rock. This ideal needs to be fueled by madness, so she opens her chest and does not turn back. Although this kind of madness inevitably burns herself while igniting the ideal, but enough fanaticism for the ideal has allowed her to focus on music forever. For her, the pleasure of self-degeneration is only temporary, and the pleasure of burning yourself for an ideal is incomparable.
In the end, there is no suspense at the end of the story. On the day when the madness burns out, after the madness in the inner substance is exhausted, the middle finger facing the world can only be turned into an open palm, and only the clothes full of rivets can be taken off, and the ordinary life can be at ease; People who are willing to ignite madness for their ideals are often indebted to this great ideal.
Crazy and great ideals say, let alone the ending, burning and wanton growth is enough to reminisce a lifetime.

==Fuck I didn't really like Kristen Stewart... I didn't expect to play Jett here.

Blonde chick is so amazing, no acting skills under youth = good acting skills, both heroines used Twilight 2's leverage to succeed. The song is so much better than sid&nancy because it's a deadly restoration because I haven't heard it before -- gorgeous entertainment record! (K's T temperament mobilization is super good, but the queen is not domineering)

The Runaways quotes

  • Kim Fowley: Cherie Currie! Welcome. You look great. What song are you going to sing for us today?

    Cherie Currie: Um, "Fever".

    Kim Fowley: "Fever"?

Lita Ford: A Peggy Lee song?

    Sandy West: Who's Peggy Lee?

Joan Jett: My mom likes Peggy Lee.

Lita Ford: Kim, you should have told her. We don't play that shit.

Cherie Currie: Suzi Quatro covered "Fever".

Lita Ford: It's a slow song. We don't play slow songs.

Joan Jett: Well, can you do a different song?

Cherie Currie: Yeah, it's just the only one I learned for today.

Kim Fowley: [interrupts] Go! Wait outside. Go. Go!

  • Kim Fowley: Joan, come here. Bring your guitar. We have to do it for her, I guess. Cherie? Cherie.

    [listens to Joan's guitar]

Kim Fowley: She's a wild child. She's a wild girl.

    Joan Jett: Yeah.

Kim Fowley: She's a wild girl. She's a, oh she's a firecracker. Give me something else. Something else. Firecracker, rocket, bomb, bomb. Cherry bomb! Cherry bomb.

    [Joan changes guitar riff]

Kim Fowley: Do it again. She's a ch-ch-ch-ch-cherry bomb! Ahh!

    Joan Jett: [laughs] That's good!

Kim Fowley: Yeah. Cherry bomb, right. Hello daddy.

Joan Jett: Hello mom? I'm your ch-ch-ch-ch-cherry bomb! That's good!

    Kim Fowley: Right? Yeah!
