suffragette

The women's equal rights movement began in England. The film tells the story of the movement of women to demand equal voting rights in England in 1912. Many awakened women have devoted themselves to their careers one after another, and launched a magnificent violent protest. The structure of the film is uneventful and has no bright spots. Compared with the main theme of the history of black and same-sex struggle for equality, it is also uncharacteristic. What is more interesting is the ending subtitles, including China in 1949, Saudi Arabia in 2015, etc., briefly comparing the vertical and horizontal women's affirmative action.

Always keep in mind that everything that women enjoy today is in exchange for their predecessors.
