Surprisingly, because of Wilde's relationship with Percy, I had a disagreement with my good friend.
He yelled, i said stop. not interested. He said it was a very subjective thing.
While I wondered what sentence hit his sensitive nerve, I realized that we are different people after all. Once upon a time, I thought we would be very happy together. Actually it shouldn't be. We are used to long distance friendships. We are actually not the same people. Too close and it will be painful.
When I watch Wilde, I get caught up in a kind of destined helplessness. When we are in the middle, we can't follow the plot we originally set, and we can't even know our current situation clearly, our love and hatred. It is not until we are older, read more books, hear more stories, and understand what life is like, that we will understand and describe our past experiences. When young people talk about life and love, they are always different from older people when they talk about these things. Wilde's story, as a bystander, I think is a tragedy, a very beautiful tragedy. He is actually a man of understanding. Don't dwell on perfections that don't exist. He was so infatuated with this boy, he wanted to tolerate him and protect him. There is no right or wrong in a love story. Now I actually have some faith in fate.
Probably reading Hemingway would be better. man's will.
When an artist struggles with the mundane, it is easy to lose. Because of the commonality of the world, the masses are ignorant, unwilling to think, and will always think at their own level. And presumably, the artist himself is a celebrant of life, or a struggle against the mundane. An enlightened society may tolerate them, and an unenlightened society will try to stifle them. Under the confines of fate, times, and society, we may not have many choices ourselves. Do not listen, do not watch, and live a quiet life may be the choice of most of us. This is not impossible. And be alone. Do not hurt them, respect and understand others. Or forget about others and focus on your own business.
