The lunar eclipse is an allegorical image that runs through the whole film. As the holy moonlight is engulfed by the darkness, the hidden "little secrets" after the heroic lives are revealed little by little. Infidelity after marriage, homosexuality, estrangement with children, etc. In a small room, a 90-minute movie was performed between seven protagonists.
The wonderful plot arrangement and the extremely tense performances are obvious to the audience, so naturally there is no need to say more. It is worth noting that at the end of the film, the director shows us a "if not playing this game" ending, where the protagonists go home happily and harmoniously, looking forward to the next party. At this point, I think, the director threw us a very controversial topic, that is:
"Should the dark secrets in life and marriage be revealed?"
First of all, we need to admit that not every paragraph Marriage is the ability for both men and women to keep their promises to each other until old age. Human nature often cannot stand the test, and the best thing is not to test human nature. However, perhaps in a certain seven years of marriage, a certain desire in human nature was magnified, and on a night of quarreling with each other, one party did something that violated "holy love". How many of these things have happened, we have no way of knowing. But for sure, there is! They appear in the headlines of major entertainment newspapers and in the lives around us.
So, in our lives with the other half, should such things be exposed? Disclosure, followed by quarrel, may also evolve into the broken marriage and love. If they don't disclose it, then they may not find out each other. After one or several accidental "accidents", after everyone repented, they returned to their normal and harmonious lives.
"How can we let marriage live in a lie!" "Isn't it good to live happily?" Both parties seem to have their own arguments, and they can't get a consistent answer for a while.
The director threw this question at us with a twist of moonlight and time.
If it were you, how would you choose?
