This is a semi-humorous film set in the Vietnam War era, between comedy and seriousness, and it is well worth watching.

The whole film is like watching Robin Williams' personal performance, there is always his personal charm, laughter is his surface, silence is his inner world.

The film captures the customs and customs of Vietnam and the life of the local people with strong colors. It was originally made in Bangkok, Thailand.

This is a sad and happy movie, and I also like the soundtrack and atmosphere.

The radio hero of the 60s. Classic alternative anti-Vietnam War, and 60's oldies. Many jokes cannot be digested and understood because of cultural differences and insufficient background knowledge. However, the Vietnamese woman in white fluttering in the film is really beautiful. Robin Williams, born comedian.

(It seems today) It is a relatively outdated anti-establishment spiritual leader film, but it is completely conceivable to shock the audience at that time 30 years ago. Except for the protagonist, the other characters, regardless of Meiyue, are still a bit facialized.

Good Morning, Vietnam quotes

  • Adrian Cronauer: [to the racist sergeant] I got to tell you somethin', you know? I've been all around the world, seen a lot of places and a lot of people. I have never, ever in my travels come across a man as large as you... with as much muscles, who has absolutely no penis.

  • Adrian Cronauer: Oh, Edward, don't you do anything that's not by the book?

Edward Garlick: Not when I get into trouble. No I don't.

Adrian Cronauer: You know, Eddie, sometimes you got to specifically go out of your way to get into trouble. It's called fun. What's that? Come on. Take some chances once in a while, Edward. That's what life's all about.
