There is too much suspense, do you want to make 2 or do you want to leave it to everyone to reason? I think it can be forced to reason

At the end of the movie, there are still a lot of things that are not explained clearly. It seems that 2 is going to be shot. 2 may explain that 1 has no demons, because the behavior of the old lady should not be a demon. The old lady resurrected them and they were on the monitor outside. Do you see it? Will the elevator repairer also have problems, and the inside and outside should be combined to kill? The police's previous reasoning is very exciting, why did it suddenly turn into a devil? Did the police believe it? The security captain who repaired the elevator shouldn't have died? Or the old lady didn't die, or the elevator repairer was using the old lady's body? The first suicide case has not been clearly explained. Has the elevator security ever killed anyone? What is the purpose of the old lady stealing the wallet? What do you want to show by moving the old lady's body and scattering so many wallets? In short, there are many, many things that are not explained clearly. I remember that there is a perfect crime in China, or what is the name of it, and the indiscriminate explanation in it can also be used for this reasoning. If there is too much suspense, there will be all kinds of reasoning, and they are all established. It is more conceivable to imagine events that are not clearly explained, and then assume conditional reasoning. So you can still use the absence of demons to deduce that this is not a movie

"If the Devil is real ,then God must be real ,too." is similar to a sniper phone booth, except that the role of law enforcement is more in line with the needs of the thriller movie and the religious background of this film.

Great atmosphere. It's a pity that it all comes down to the subject of religious punishment and forgiveness. If this is a real crime, it's like the Kensington sniper case mentioned in the film: a few years ago, a man shot four strangers, and then killed His own wife, he wanted to disguise the murder of an individual as a serial murder. That should be more awesome, and of course more difficult.

Devil quotes

  • Young Woman: It feels like something *bit* me!

  • Ramirez: Everybody believes in him a little bit, even guys like you who pretend they don't.

[Detective Bowden takes out a small folded piece of paper and throws it to Ramirez that reads "Im so sorry"]

    Ramirez: What's this?

Detective Bowden: An apology note left at the site of a hit and run. My wife and son were killed out on Bethlaham Pike five years ago, but that's OK, because whoever did it is *sorry*. You can tell by the heartfelt apology on the back of a carwash coupon.

    [pause]

Detective Bowden: So no, I don't believe in the Devil. You don't need him, people are bad enough by themselves.
