The film tells the story of several completely different women helping a little boy who lacks fatherly love to grow into an adult. The film itself is not as grand as its title, but speaks from tiny individuals of different ages, calling attention to women, not by keeping them in fixed roles, but by treating them as a people to look at. What is even more surprising is that this work full of feminist context is from the hand of a male director, and the overall conception is very delicate and full of sincerity.
