Different from the "craftsmanship" mentioned in other film reviews, what I saw in this film is a story of a woman who stood up strong and brave after experiencing a huge shock in her life.
Natalie Portman is my favorite actress. After her works such as "This Killer Is Not Too Cold", "Black Swan", "V for Vendetta" and that speech at Harvard University, I feel more and more that she is A thoughtful and independent woman. So as soon as she appeared in this movie, I was like seeing the real Jacqueline, the first lady whose husband was shot in the head next to her and died.
She was thin, dignified, strong and courageous. After her husband was assassinated, all she could think of and do was comfort her two children and do her best to hold a grand funeral for her husband that will be remembered forever. Of course, as a woman, she is also afraid. The former glory and status are gone, and she even needs to consider selling her property to ensure that her two children can finish college.
She also wanted to die, hoping that someone would end her life with a bullet like she did to her husband. But later, when she inevitably arrived at that epiphany moment, she found that even if what the poor pursued in her life was meaningless, as long as there was a brief shining moment, she was already in the Camelot that everyone yearned for .
