I don't see much of continental European movies. This time, the secret of Marrowbone's family is very amazing. It can be said to be the most healing and warm movie I have seen in 2018.

At the end of the story, they didn't destroy the house that brought the nightmare. Or for them, the house brings not nightmares, but all love and warmth. In this socially distanced sanctuary, they keep each other warm.
At the end of the film, the four dolls lying on the bed reminded me of the last happy time in the diary of the male protagonist. Maybe we can go fishing together again. It is the simplest wish to let the male protagonist imprison him.
