There is nothing money can't solve. If there is, then another little golden pig

A Korean movie, very classic Korean movie trend, but still so ironic.

The ending of the movie was not as good as expected. Since Yuzi was taken from the mountain, I guessed that the ending of the movie would be like the old routine. In the end, Meizi successfully rescued Yuzi and the family was reunited. The ALF successfully exposed the various misdeeds of Midoran, and Midoran collapsed under the pressure of public opinion and public outrage. Justice is proclaimed and sin is punished. But this movie still greatly exceeded my expectations, the ending of the movie is very real and very helpless.

There are many satires on Qian Quan in the movie. There is nothing that money can't solve. For example, when Meizi was going down the mountain to save Yuzi in Seoul at the beginning of the movie, her grandfather said to Meizi, how do you go to Seoul, you have no money, and you smashed the storage tank. money solves the problem. Like when Tamago was transported to New York, Miko, who had no way to go to New York, went to New York with the help of Midoran. Even at the end of the movie, when all the methods failed to save Yuko, when all the efforts were in vain, it was Meizi's golden pig - money solved the problem.

There are also a lot of satires in the movie. Just like when Frank said he didn't know how consumers would react after Ruth's sister Nancy appeared, Nancy's line "As long as it's cheap, they'll eat it." Just like the line that Ruth's sister Nancy said at the end of the movie, "We are proud of our achievements, we are businessmen with great industry, we do business, this is our business." Just like in the end Jie can do nothing The humble request Nancy said when she released Meizi and Yuzi, "You have enough money." The rich are still making money, and the poor are still starving.

The whole movie is also full of metaphors. In the war between sister Lucy and sister Nancy, the weak sister wants to spend 10 years to establish trust with consumers through deception, so as to achieve the goal of selling genetically modified pork. The goal is still a failure. But the strong sister can achieve her goal in a short period of time only by obtaining the license from the relevant department and opening up political relations at all levels. This is like saying that the public has sharp eyes, and it is difficult to deceive the public, but as long as you can handle the political and legal aspects well, no matter how the public opposes it, it will not affect the outcome.

It is not justice that triumphs in the end, it is merely that one evil triumphs over another.

very good movie

Premiere at the Cannes Film Festival. If it weren't for the final social significance, how could this film with such a strong commercial atmosphere produced by netflix be shortlisted for the main competition unit = =

Miko's weakness in strength will inevitably require the help of others. The solution to the script is the setting of animal protection organizations. But the paradox is why this organization only protects Yuzi throughout the whole process, but has no compassion or concern for other super pigs, especially in the third act, such a script is completely illogical...

  • Jay: Translations are sacred.

  • [first lines]

Lucy Mirando: [to camera while descending industrial stairway] Oh, thank you! What a terrific crowd! Welcome to my inauguration! I'm Lucy, Lucy Mirando, of the Mirando Corporation. Welcome to my grandfather's old factory. Now, I know, we all know, that Grandpa Mirando was a terrible man.

    [crowd laughs]

Lucy Mirando: We know of the atrocities he committed in this space. We know these walls are stained with the blood of fine working men. But today, I reclaim this space, to tell you a beautiful story. Now the rotten CEOs are gone. It's Mirando's new era with me, and with new core values, environment, and life. Awesome.

Employee: You're much more fun than the last chief executive.

Lucy Mirando: Well, former CEO Nancy is my sister, but, uh... we're very different people. We have very different ways of being. We have very different business ethics. But she's totally ignorant about humanity. She lacks vision beyond her next round of golf.

    [crowd laughs]

Lucy Mirando: The world's population is at 7 billion. 805 million human beings struggle with hunger every day, including 30 million right here in the United States. The world is running out of food, and we're not talking about it.

Lucy Mirando: We needed a miracle. And then we got one. Say hello to a super piglet. This beautiful and special little creature was miraculously discovered on one Chilean farm. We brought this precious girl to the Mirando Ranch in Arizona. Our scientists have been raising her with love and care ever since, observing and performing various studies. And we've successfully reproduced 26 miracle piglets by nonforced, natural mating. They are like nothing on Earth!
