Yesterday, I finally watched "Raw", and I read a lot of reviews, previews, and spoilers before that. Once you have done enough psychological construction, you can start looking at your phone by holding it far away.
Like "Zhongxie", horror movies that don't make people scary are not horror movies. The few episodes in the middle are really disgusting! Especially the plot of pulling the hair out of the throat, coupled with the auditory empathy and resonance brought by the music, the stomach turned upside down and almost burst out!
So many incredible plot settings and filming that I can't believe this is from the French '98 "Little Fresh Meat" show. Expressions, breath, lines, actions, lively and vigorous, and then look at the little fresh meat in China, I really have a chill down my spine! (In the second half of the sentence, I don't actually want to say that I just take this to sigh that this little girl is beautiful and can act young.)
1. The existence of nature cannot be tampered with and suppressed, but only by accepting nature, especially the negative side of nature, can one have more rights of transformation and free choice.
The younger sister was "forced" to be a vegetarian at the beginning and later discovered that her natural instinct was to eat raw meat and even eat her sister's fingers to eat human flesh. During this process, her latent nature was constantly stimulated. The father's eyes on the dining table and in the rearview mirror in the opening chapter and the father stripping off his clothes and exposing his chest at the end are a good foreshadowing! And the sister and her boyfriend's efforts to restrain themselves when they had sex also foreshadowed her boyfriend's inevitable death and tragic end.
2. The price of growing up is pain and bloodshed, and "Eat Raw" visualizes it.
The dramatic ups and downs and continuous advancement of the plot are sudden and unpredictable like a flood. The plot setting can no longer be described as unexpected, like sisters growing up in destruction, caught off guard and powerless to resist. The colors are bright, bold and exaggerated, and the bright and dazzling makes people unable to open their eyes and reluctant to close them. The blood everywhere and the horror images seem to have a bit of Quentin Tarantino's meaning again. Musical honey is good, like rock, punk, exaggerated, rebellious and extreme. The one-man show is the most difficult to perform, and the scene where my sister dances in front of the mirror to the music is really amazing. (a French song, I couldn't find it after using various methods)
3. Sexual Repression and Sexual Liberation Natural Repression and Natural Liberation
It's a universal theme that uses sexual repression to showcase various negative personalities that are repressed. Probably all of them are derivatives of Freudian psychoanalytic transmission. The disgusting plot not only stimulates the vision, but also stimulates the nerves and the mind. Disgusting plots ultimately lead to beauty, not destruction.
"Eat Raw" is as hot as the weather in May! Anyway, it's hot to me~
