Brief comment on beautiful boy

I want to watch the movie at first for Timothy. In the movie , the roles of father, mother even his step mother seem perfect. Everything in his life has run normally until he was found to abuse drugs. What attracts me is the emotions of Nic expressed by the actor when he was fighting against himself . The status of digging who am l , what am l doing , why l should do this and other series of self-consciousness questions seems once to happen on me. What upsets me is the purpose of movie. The director reminds us of the importance of family, but in my opinion the father in this movie is better than any other father as far as my life which can't represent most families. Most cases of addicts usually lead to the ignorance of families. It is a bit futile to discuss the behaviors of addicts in that families. I mean that is too perfect to exist ,but the line of emotions is expressive. That's all.

The subject of drug addiction is important but difficult to grasp. The characterization and acting are both delicate and successful, but the story itself is procrastinated and self-indulgent.
