What's the difference between "The Hurricane" and the real event?

It is based on the Pacific hurricane shipwreck that has caused a sensation in the United States. In 1983, Tammy and Richard met and fell in love. The two young men who loved sailing got engaged and made a lifetime commitment, but a voyage across the Pacific changed their fate. Three weeks after sailing, they were hit by a Category 4 hurricane named Raymond, one of the strongest hurricanes on record in the Pacific Ocean. At the time, winds were over 140 miles per hour, and the sea was surging with waves up to 40 feet. After the hurricane, the hull was severely damaged, and despair and loneliness hit the two. It is worth mentioning that the filming location of the film "The Stormy Waves" is the starting point of the real shipwreck that year - Tahiti. Tahiti is praised by tourists as "the fairy island closest to paradise". In order to restore the real scene, the director took live shooting to show the beauty and cruelty of Tahiti, and strive to let the audience experience the helplessness of human beings in front of nature. 2018.7 watching at the cinema, I was sitting in the first row in front of the big IMAX screen. The strong wind and rain really made me suffocate. The feeling of oppression reminded me of going out to sea in the rain in Fiji and Australia. So much so that I was taken very deep. The ending was a juvenile pie-style ending, but it shocked me two orders of magnitude more than juvenile pie. In the two weeks after that, every time I thought about this movie, I was still depressed. This is a good movie, it touched my sore spot, and it gave me a deep thought.

The film is badly shot, and 90 minutes can be stinky and long, and if you make a double line, you will think you are smart, but the result is that the poor techniques of the director and cutting process are seen at a glance, which is basically another huge consumption (waste) of the prototype characters. Several shipwreck films are made every year. It seems that the battle is quite big, but in fact one is ugly. The template of "Titanic" can still be used for another 100 years, so let's continue to toss. And, this is what you've been dreaming of, a trip that just goes away.

Richard Sharp: You'd rather I lied to you?

Tami Oldham: Yes, please lie to me. Just tell me it's gonna be okay.
