This film review does not write about the technical aspects, just talk about the plot.
The first half of the film spent a lot of time preparing for it, and the interaction with the second half of the horror plot was relatively small. The first half mainly depicts the face of the art circle. When I started talking about Dease, the horror part started. (That is to say that friends who watch horror movies can fully understand the plot without watching the first half)
I personally think that the velvet circular saw has two cores: one is the irony of the art circle in the first half of the bedding part, and the second is the thing to express in the second half of the thriller part-there are two points of personal understanding.
One is that pure art is not for others to see. This is from Dease’s will that says he must destroy all of his works. People in the art circle will only die after discovering and exhibiting his works against his wishes. In addition, at the end of the film, Josephine yelled at the artist who was going to quit haze, "If no one sees it, what is the meaning of art", and later became a part of the painting and was exhibited on the street.
The second is that art should not be tainted with copper odor. In the film, after the artist's work enters the art circle, people only see the price of the painting. Even if the work of Dease, which is highly regarded as a top hit after being discovered, is no longer pure art, it is more like a commodity than art. The art circle is called the art circle, but money has become the first.
