Use animation to interpret reality-don’t continue to be "box monsters"

The animation itself is mediocre, but it has a lot of meaning.
For example, white hats and cheese should symbolize power and interest. They come from "Who Moved My Cheese"; the
box monsters must come from "The Man in a Case". They are timid, kind, wealthy, and they are also exploited and oppressed. Will not resist; the
box blame terminator represents various groups such as unscrupulous media, unscrupulous businessmen, and even gray area organizations that distort facts, create public opinion, and manipulate innocent and weak civilians for their own benefit. They are criminals. ;
Lord and friends no doubt on behalf of the rulers, they Guanguanxianghu form a community of interests, they only care about "white hat" and "cheese";
Lord on behalf of loyal daughter rulers around, they are eager rulers can correct judgments and decisions, But usually admonitions are ignored, and even the rulers do not even listen. They only care about their own "cheese";
human citizens should represent other arty, ignorant, foolish people who are deceived by public opinion and politicians.

It is said that it was shortlisted for this year’s Oscar for Best Animated Feature Film. I wonder if it won the crown because of its symbolic meaning^_^

    Everything is so naturally moving. People are always reluctant to believe the truth and prefer to believe the lie. It seems like a simple animation story, but it reflects the reality of today's society.

    This is the most complete one of all stop motion animations I have seen. The exquisite level of the model is even comparable to Daddy Fox. The animation is very smooth. Compared with Norman, the CG intake is a lot more rational and retains the best light and shadow texture. To a large extent, fables based on story materials are no longer considered to be a young age. Just as rights and status in the film have become stinky cheese, the alarm of parental responsibility, and getting out of the box to accept the true self, these are real problems in the eyes of adults.

The Boxtrolls quotes

  • Winnie: [on seeing Eggs rubbing his crotch] No!... You don't scratch there in public. That's why they're called

    [whispers]

    Winnie: privates.

  • Eggs: It won't change who you are. Cheese, hats, boxes-they don't make you who you are. You make you.
