Field platoon

The biggest contribution of the field platoon is to face the history clearly. In the current Cold War, the Reagan administration has expanded its munitions and advocated war. The flood of negative emotions has raised the entire United States’ fear of war to an unprecedented height. The Vietnam War has proved one. The invariable law of war caused devastation, and the vision of the times. The twelve-year Vietnam War can be regarded as the beginning of modern warfare. It is not only reflected in the upgrading of weapons, means of transportation and tactics, some terms are inadvertently. The emergence of: humanized disposal of captives, courts of war, post-war trauma, etc., are extremely real and extremely terrifying. If World War I and World War II are for survival, then the Vietnam War and any subsequent war will become naked plunder.
Let alone the war scenes, it’s only 86 years, resources are limited, at least sincerity is commendable, Cambodia’s live shooting, the rain forest that can’t be reached, countless snakes, insects, rats and ants, even leeches are real, the war is cruel, and the war scenes are not gentle. Where to go, I really admire these guys who dare to face the harsh environment!
Charlie was twenty-one at the time. Before she was crippled by drugs, she could squeeze water out of her tender face. Her voice that was not contaminated by cigarettes and alcohol was so loud that she could hear the narration from the field platoon. Uncle Depp was accidentally discovered. Depp was still a beautiful boy at the time, no scum, no wrinkles. Unfortunately, there were not many scenes. He was shot by a stray bullet in the middle. Before he died, he was still calling Sheen by his name. Don't leave him~ I~ start to YY again~~ Distressed, distressed! !
In short, both admire Oliver's courage and appreciate his talents. Those who can really make shocking films must be people who understand and respect human nature. This is especially true for war films. The last sentence of the film: dedicated to those who died in the Vietnam War. Soldiers. The absolute consideration comes from the heart. Every face and every shot in the film really proves this point. I think these young men are indeed contributing to world peace!

    8. The lead actor is Sheen's son in Apocalypse Now. I said he was still so young in the past 10 years. I thought he was his younger brother. The one with the most crossfire scenes in the Vietnam War movies I've seen

Thanks to the film festival for the third time to watch, the classics can't be added. The first two times were DVD5 and DVD9, and the third time was finally dedicated to the big screen. A question that always entangles every time I look at it, if I were Tyler, facing a dying Sergeant Barn, would I pull the trigger of the Karshnikov in my hand? This is a question that I cannot assume or answer.

Platoon quotes

  • Sgt. O'Neill: Guy's in three years, he thinks he's Jesus fucking Christ or something.

Sgt. Barnes: Red, your guys stay in, but you go! I need veterans out there.

    Sgt. O'Neill: Damn it!

    [leaves]

Lt. Wolf: Excuse me, Seargeant. But in front of the men, I think it's necessary for *me* to give the orders.

    Sgt. Barnes: [sarcastically] Yes, sir.

  • Sgt. Elias: Barnes! Barnes! What the fuck do you think you're doing?

Sgt. Barnes: Stay out of this, Elias. This ain't your show.

Sgt. Elias: You ain't a firing squad, you piece of shit.

[Elias and Barnes fight, the others try to stop them from fighting]

Sgt. Barnes: You're dead, Elias! I swear to fucking God, you're dead!
