A must-see movie for anyone who likes Guy pearce

Early Australian movies are usually hard to find, and I'm glad I downloaded them.
Transvestism, transsexualism, transgender people.
A group of small people on the fringe of society, very different subjects in that era.
At first glance at the introduction of the film, I thought the atmosphere was remote and dark, but when I saw it, I found that the atmosphere of the whole film was relaxed and full of warmth. Full of authentic Australian style.
I love Australia, and I also like Guy Pearce, an Australian actor.
Back then because of "Fragments of Memory", he was overwhelmed by Guy Pearce's acting skills. After that, he collected his works and news frantically. Reluctantly, he was too low-key and his work was rare, but he still found the most treasured "Desert Demon".
This is not only Guy Pearce's big screen fame, but also the most special of all his roles.
A gay man with a transsexual psychology.
In the early 1990s, Guy Pearce, who was first involved in the screen, took over this extremely challenging role.
Although he is not the protagonist in the film and his acting skills are not mature, I appreciate his bravery.
The sissy comrade played by Guy Pearce is the most man of the three "girls." Perhaps he tried his best to express the "mother" of the role, but his acting skills were not deep enough, and only let us see something on the surface. Perhaps, he was a tough guy in his bones, just like most of the roles he played later.
In fact, in this film, I think the old men who play transgender people have the best acting skills. The characters are portrayed deep to the bone. At the end, I wonder if he is really transsexual.

When new human beings appear, there is hope for life, and the next part is touching and delicate.

Cynthia: Lemonade here - I make! Lemonade for guests.

    Bob: No, darling, please.

Cynthia: [snarls viciously and curses in an Asian language] I make chockrit cracker!

  • Cynthia: Me perform for you. Me dance too.

Bob: My wife used to be in the, uh... entertainment business.

    Cynthia: Yeah. You perform here?
