Salvatore Ferragamo and Gucci

I watched a 114-minute director's cut version in advance, and silently called countless goodies in my heart!
Before I watched it, I had a pre-judgment in my heart. A sports film adapted from a real story, the tone is always inspirational, a negative teaching material, a positive model, and so on repeatedly, in the end the evil will not suppress the righteousness.

But as soon as James Hunt appeared on the stage, all my expectations were subverted. The director did not deliberately belittle or exaggerate. He just portrayed the two people’s personalities, allowing the audience to judge and love them. In other words, the director loves both A genius, no one can do it. Arrogant, romantic, impulsive, unruly; steady, harsh, low-key, traditional; both are geniuses, no doubt. But a godlike opponent is more difficult to find than a bunch of stupid friends.

James Hunt is like James Bond in the racing world. He is also from the United Kingdom. Chris Hemsworth, who has long hair, is a bit like Brad Pitt's "Thor", once again with long hair fluttering in the role. James is not a negative teaching material (although he was educated by the great motherland, I once believed that he was), but there will be many women or men, he is deeply obsessed with such a "rock and roll rebel" with a bit of bastard atmosphere. He retains his original male charm, but he has many childlike problems. He will vomit because of the tension and excitement before the fight with fate each time. He is aggressive and only loves parrots. Women are passers-by at every stage. , Addicted to drugs and alcohol, loves to get angry. But once on the track, the technical genius does not need to work hard, but it is bold enough to be scary. An enviable shameless bastard!

Niki Lauda is rigid and rigorous, even annoying. A serious look reveals the blood of the Germanic nation. He has a natural understanding and knowledge of cars. He is not the fastest, but the most stable. May be worried that the audience will not like this kind of character, the director beautifies his private life more, occasionally acting handsome, selling cute, talking and laughing. But it wasn't until the car accident that he became a positive role in the "traditional sense", rather than a foil to the cool guy. Love the family, love the career, persevere, respect the opponent, and let the opponent respect! An unpleasant character, but it has to be more respected!

There are too many highlights in the film. The operation of light and shadow, the sense of presence of F1, the restoration of the 1970s, the efforts of the director and the entire team make people completely involved. In order to avoid crossing and escape the atmosphere created with painstaking effort, the F1 body did not use the brand sponsor logo that was not available at the time, such as Red Bull. As a sponsor of Ferragamo in the 1970s, its former classic logo was restored in the film, and some implants were so easy to accept.

The film has many sponsors, among which the apparel part is mainly two Italian luxury brands Salvatore Ferragamo and Gucci. Ferragamo has always chosen Niki Lauda for its classic and elegant style. Gucci's beautiful male image is undoubtedly the perfect match for James. In the play, Niki’s dressing style is typical of the conservative and formal in the 1970s. The suit with large lapel, the plaid fleece fabric, the leather travel bag and the classic leather shoes of the F family, is a stable and classic image of a good man; and his The V-neck dress, wedge heels, precious leather handbag and dark coat after the wedding of the wife before the marriage also perfectly interpret the elegance and luxury of the Ferragamo woman. Let’s talk about James on the other side, an exaggerated shirt with big lapel and deep openings, a casual suit, and jeans; especially when he doesn’t like to wear leather shoes, the scene where he puts alligator shoes on the table is natural and effective; the supermodel played by New York socialite Olivia Wilde also Gucci's luxury is magnified to the extreme, and the logo that slammed the door is unforgettable; it is a pity that the wedding dress is not theirs. And the implantation of Fiat is also natural, Chinese directors learn.

There are also multiple dew-point passion dramas by James in the play. It is estimated that it will be cut off in China, but it will not affect the plot; Niki's stitching scenes are slightly bloody, and girls may not be able to stand it.

In addition, I don’t like the Chinese version of the translated title, which is permeated with a vulgar taste; while the original title, RUSH, is more manly, more direct, more thorough, and more original!

It seems that this film is going to hit the Oscars, and the hope of winning the championship is great; but the downside is that, except for the director and the team, which is the United States, most of the other content has little to do with the United States. The investors are also Britain and Germany. In the end, it depends on the Oscar's belly. !

It will be released in China in October! Looking forward to the front RUSH of the big screen!

Rush quotes

  • Niki Lauda: A wise man can learn more from his enemies than a fool from his friends.

  • [last lines]

Niki Lauda: Of course he didn't listen to me. For James, one world title was enough. He had proved what he needed to prove. To himself and anyone who doubted him. And two years later, he retired. When I saw him next in London, seven years later, me as a champion again, him as broadcaster, he was barefoot on a bicycle with a flat tire, still living each day like his last. When I heard he died age 45 of a heart attack, I wasn't surprised. I was just sad. People always think of us as rivals but he was among the very few I liked and even fewer that I respected. He remains the only person I envied.
