Regret a step away, Big Hero 6 (Big Hero 6)

Disney's new film Big Hero 6, the Chinese translation of Big Hero 6, the Big Six Heroes or the Big League of Legends (WTF), and then used BH6 as the collective name, is undoubtedly the most anticipated animation film at the end of this year. The patch 1 trailer (in the patch trailers of all the movies I've watched this year, the response of this trailer is far more enthusiastic than the others, and it was ranked first) for the first time in my eyes. With this extremely high level of no-line fragments similar to short films, Disney succeeded in making baymax a hurdle in the hearts of animation fans, sincerely looking forward to the end of the year (surprisingly, the classic trailer in the final movie was I deleted it. Except for the wonderful work that I’ve brushed a dozen times and is everywhere in Amway, most of the audience should not have watched the trailer for addiction?)

Of course, this expectation did not bring disappointment. If Tangled is ignoring finances Safely gamble to start a counterattack in a new era of Disney animation. Wreck-it ralph is a magical pen that draws the essence of Pixar and matches its ancestors. Frozen is the perfect integration of Disney’s traditional art animation in 3D and modern styles and returns to the pinnacle. Then BH6 It symbolizes the advancement and maturity of Disney's industrialization system represented by Marvel to animation.

From my little understanding of Marvel, the original status of BH6 is a superhero comic created by Marvel for the Japanese market, but it has not achieved such outstanding results and status in the competition with the countless powerful enemies of Japanese comics ( I don’t know which one is more third-tier than the Guardians of the Galaxy). However, Disney has cleverly carried out a considerable adaptation, including the story, character, and style of the work, which are far from the original. This adaptation and grafting of Marvel's works successfully wiped out the decline of the original work for BH6. It is still Disney's usual family movie for adults and children, but it makes full use of the advantages of the setting, the resources of the comic giant, and industrialization. The mature system (they are even the end eggs!), these correct decisions have been transformed into the quality of the work.

In terms of production level, BH6 is a more excellent carving work than Frozen. It has exquisite scenes, impeccable technology, colorful eggs in ambush, layers of smiles and tears, and coloring. The script and the story section, the extravagant use of materials, the perfect rhythm that is almost meticulous to the second before the start of the boss battle, the quality of the entire animation has been maintained extremely well, and no one can match it in recent years. After eagerly looking forward to it, BH6 is indeed the animated movie that everyone has applauded after watching it is extremely satisfying. Compared with this year's weak opponents, BH6 is even more impeccable.

Of course, the greatest hero medal of the whole movie still has to be awarded to the heartthrob baymax. This carelessly thoughtful and dull health care robot that is born with a cute aura is definitely the biggest highlight of the whole movie. It not only relies on its "elegant" temperament to successfully collect most of the laughter of the entire animation, it is also the inside of the film and the basis for the construction of the story. In appearance, the perfect round body structure matches the minimalist lines of the face, coupled with the chubby and soft "hug and attract" texture, fully capable of serving as the mascot of this year's Christmas domineering store. Inside, its meticulously caring nature coupled with its pureness and naturalness as a robot makes the audience want nothing but to embrace it (or be embraced by it). As for the theme of the movie, it also carries the love, pursuit and dream passed down from the elder brother to the younger brother. “Technology should have progressed for the best and happiest life of mankind”. It can even be said that Baymax represents the integrity and essence of the entire movie, and leads the animation out of the quality and creativity that the original can't create.

If you want to continue to praise BH6, then there can be countless beautiful words. Most of the time, its laughter is almost as good and dense as expected after watching the trailer. The characters it creates are pleasing and bright. Out, it doesn't have a trace of boring time and pee. However, after the whole movie is over, there is always a slight fluctuation that interferes with the audience's further recollection of this work. It seems that there are still some points that cannot be taken care of under the Disney's industrial system and it is difficult to make it perfect.

Like Frozen, the entire BH6 animation also has a nearly perfect first half and a rather short second half. Of course, BH6 is not as dazzling as Frozen from the first half to the end of let it go, making the second half extremely mediocre, but After the boss battle began, there was a sudden acceleration of the narrative rhythm. This rhythmic fault tore through the whole work, revealing minor scars.

The first and most obvious is the lack of power in shaping and emotional transformation of the protagonist in the second half. The emotional transformation of the protagonist hiro is too violent, rapid and straightforward, lacking the sense of strength and persuasive power to build up, and between the two brothers in the first half (also Or through baymax) interactive exquisite and moving emotional scenes have formed a sharp contrast;

followed by group action scenes and BOSS battles, which are compressed so that they are not able to do their best (Marvel movies still continue their own good tradition of BOSS's serious failure to bluff. So, it seems that the Women’s Federation 1 uses Rocky to sell cute taillights that are four or two. At this point, if the incredibles can score 5 stars, then BH6 can only linger between 4 stars and 3 stars, shaping the character of the four teammates. From a supporting role perspective, the scene is sufficient and brilliant, but once it enters a group action scene, the whole movie instantly becomes fierce and mediocre because of the excessively fast pace and the excessively compressed time. Although everyone has several excellent action points , But the number is too small and the cut is too rush, and there is a lack of exquisite and smooth or magnificent arrangement and coordination. Of course, the boss's strength fluctuates greatly and it is difficult to blame (for these six geniuses who fight without a teacher, they are basically one There are no opponents who can fight!); The

birth of Boss lacks foreshadowing and the bluntness of logic is incompatible with the whole story. The addition of this plot seems to be forced in to rationalize the birth of Boss, from the character of the Boss to The motives to the way of birth are not inconsistent with the main spirit of the whole animation, nor are they inconsistent enough with the protagonists, which further makes the boss battle lack of atmosphere and emotional power;

The ending can almost be regarded as the weakest point of the entire animation. The narrative of the final turning and ending can even be described as "hastily ended", full of helplessness of "the previous construction period is too tight and there is no way to do more". Even though the interaction of one person, one "ball" is still trying to make people move, it still gives people a sense of suffocation like tears. BH6 really needs to leave some time and space after the carnival for the audience to calm down and slowly aftertaste, at least give it a feeling of "running toward the sunset" similar to neon people or the knowing smile and reluctance of Yankees "party is end". In this regard, Ralph can be described as "textbook-like".

Due to this kind of rhythm and the structure of the story, the second half of the work always exudes "we still have a lot of great ideas before we can realize it", "here is another month for us to do better." The regret that the emotional ideals we hope to express and the love for this work have not been fully conveyed to the audience. The fetters between brothers, the dreams and pursuits of brothers could have been dig deeper. The transformation of hiro personality and inner struggles could have meant longer thinking about life, and the sparks of baymax and hiro could have been more contagious and more difficult. Forget, the 6 little heroes with their own unique skills could have shown more wonderful battle scenes (not afraid, this is a Marvel movie, we have a sequel), but these are only wishful thinking after all.

An animation not only needs perfect production, it also needs some space for the producers to inject a little precious soul into the purity and childlike innocence that ordinary movies cannot match, just like a little mouse sitting and watching the night of Paris under the tower, and like a giant The declaration of a bad guy at the moment of falling is like a robot stepping on the earth and clenched hands, and it is like the setting sun as the final farewell of childhood playmates.

Of course, the shortcomings mentioned above are only the bones picked out of BH6 eggs. This is still an excellent work that makes people touched by laughter, filled with admiration, and smiled after admiration. It relies on its steady performance and Baymax's love for the world. It has already sat in this year's Oscars. The throne of the best animation (the other half of the ass is Lego). But what is regrettable is that if you can have a longer polishing time, if the producer’s idea has a chance to be further realized, if there is no need to be branded with too many superhero movies, if there is too much, if it can be reflected in reality , This work will be even more dazzling. Under this heart-wrenching regret, the new Disney Animation Studio is still one step away from the final condemnation.

    This cute robot alone is worth four stars

    Finally, it's Marvel's turn to feed back the sick Disney of the old princess. With the fine Japanese animation elements, the movie has what can be called the most complicated setting and story of Disney in recent years.
