Tough Guy Ambassador

When Bruce Willis first appeared on the screen as a police negotiator with messy hair and a beard, he was really unaccustomed to be honest. Unfortunately, this negotiation failed. Both the hostage and the kidnapper died. Bruce was greatly stimulated, so he came to the small town of LA to work as a sheriff with a sense of frustration. The director's arrangement of this opening seems to tell us that Bruce's identity as a negotiator will play a big role after the plot unfolds.
But unfortunately, in the subsequent double hostage incident, I saw more Bruce as a tough guy, just like his previous image. How many spectators can remember his role as a former negotiator when he has nothing to lose in times of crisis? Perhaps the only thing that can be far-fetched to connect with the negotiator is that his phrase "Listen to me, Son" is firm and calm, and he can still vaguely smell some negotiators.
The film still has a strong viewability as a police film, but the portrayal of the characters is obviously flawed. But there is no need to be exact, the weekend is still very good as a pastime, and you can also practice English listening:)

Another eye-catching affection. It's just that the plot isn't smooth.

It's actually quite creative, but the screenwriter couldn't hold it back.
