The clue of Dumbo-incomplete

The first thing that reminded me was a text "The Little Elephant in Bangkok" when I was in elementary school. I didn't know much about "Dumbo" about its historical frontiers. I think it's good to see it with the mentality of "Meeting the scenery every time, picking up Cui and looking for Fang".

1. Incomplete.

The director used characters, roles (Bunbao), and emotional incompleteness to compile a story with a happy ending. The beginning is Holt, a soldier who has just retired from the battlefield. The war caused him to lose his left arm. Sister Millie lost her mother, and survived each other for more than a year, waiting for the father who lost his left arm. A crippled family.

Benbao’s mother just bought it, and gave birth to a baby elephant, Benbao, one night, because the baby elephant Benbao was born with very big ears and was protected by mother’s love. ? Understand the powerlessness in front of human rejection characteristics). This is the incompleteness of the baby elephant-abnormal, discriminated against, and excluded.

The heroine Camelot is just a vase brought back from the streets of Paris by the owner of the Dreamland. Behind her glamorous identity is her own loneliness (emotional loneliness, language loneliness...). The incompleteness of the emotional level of human nature.

The baby elephant went out and "flyed" in order to retrieve the mother elephant, and was shown to earn money; the mother elephant was traded and forced to perform, her legs tied by iron chains, and barred windows...this kind of enslavement is not free . The loss of freedom is also a kind of mutilation.

There are always broken things that can be remixed and weave another perfection. In order to pursue maternal love, escape the loneliness of emotional lack, and pursue freedom, I choose to struggle and struggle. The opposite is always human greed, hatred, and ignorance. I have always felt that the world has become dirtier since people want more.

Just watched it, and it brought back my memories of "The Little Elephant in Bangkok"! happy weekend!

  • Holt Farrier: [as he, Milly, and Joe slowly approach Dumbo, hiding underneath a pile of straw] Don't be scared.

[diminishing to a whisper as he squats down in front of the straw pile]
