Is this a film about human nature thinking? Could it be said that everyone has the faith to live forever? However, after the resurrection, does it highlight the evil nature of human nature? For violence, for blood, and for desire, people have an innate pursuit, right? You have stolen the secrets of life and death, but you have a decapitation perverted tryst here. You are not even worthy of being a second-rate scientist! If this is an educational film, do I want to say that this is a career pursuit and dedication? It should be an interpretation of desire, life and death, right?

1 It turned out to be like this. The special effects of 1985 are not easy anymore. Tomato juice is everywhere~

A more classic horror movie, with a tight rhythm and blood flying wildly. The character was accidentally involved in the experiment of resurrecting the dead. The technology is not mature enough, and then it "jumps alive". The scariest thing about this film is that if medical advances can really revive the brain, how can the limited resources of the earth provide for the endless human beings? It is easier for the audience to make value judgments between humans and "living corpses" in the movie. When medicine and technology make life-extending humans no longer hideous, how should they choose? This is the subject of another movie.

Re-Animator quotes

  • Herbert West: Hill! Hill took my serum, my notes, everything!

Dan Cain: Herbert you're insane! Now what happened here?

Herbert West: I had to kill him!

    Dan Cain: What? He's dead?

    Herbert West: [reluctantly] Not anymore.

    Dan Cain: Herbert!

    [grabbing Herbert and shaking him]

Dan Cain: This has got to stop!

  • Herbert West: [Struggling to lift Dr. Halsey's body onto a table] Come on! Help me get him up.

    Dan Cain: Is he dead?

Herbert West: Of course! Will you give me a hand here? Now, he interrupted an important experiment in progress. Granted, it was an accident. But this is the freshest body that we could come across save of killing one ourselves, and every moment that we spend talking about it costs us results! Now will you give me a hand? Dan, we can bring him back to life.

    Dan Cain: [Hesitating, overwhelmed] Okay.
