After seeing this movie, the first thing that comes to mind is Faye Wong and Eason Chan's "Because of Love". It feels very similar, the power of music is so great.
Adapted from a true story, "The Music Never Stopped", a pair of father and son who also love music, a real father and son relationship.
A son who keeps his memories 20 years ago because of a brain tumor and can no longer add new memories, and a father who misses his son too much because he likes music very differently from his son. During my son's hospitalization, I found that when my son heard the music that was once thought to be bad for him, he miraculously remembered the story of hearing the music.
In order to shorten the distance with his son, the father never wanted to lose him again, and he also listened to these popular songs at the time. And fulfilled his son's dream - to see a Greatful Dead concert. Although the father is dead, there has been a new section in the son's memory since then, a section in which the father and him participated together.
