"Longmen Flying Armor": There is still a night photo of pride left

After watching "Dragon Gate Flying Armor" with a friend, she asked me, why do I like martial arts so much?

Couldn't answer for a while. As a girl, she grew up with martial arts film and television when she was a child. She was fascinated by the martial arts world of swords, lights, swords and shadows on TV. When she was in junior high school, she read all the martial arts novels by Jin Yong Gulong, Guo Jing, Huang Rong, Yang Guo, Linghu Chong. ... Each and every martial arts character is very rare. For those who have liked martial arts since childhood, martial arts is not only a childhood dream, but also a feeling that is difficult to speak to outsiders.

So naturally you can't miss this "Dragon Gate Flying Armor", which is known as the first domestic 3D martial arts movie. What's more, it is still from Tsui Hark, who has filmed my favorite martial arts movies such as "The Swordsman", "The Unbeaten East", "A Chinese Ghost Story" and "Once Upon a Time".

3D technology is the biggest selling point of the film. Presumably the filmmakers also knew this very well, so they used nearly 30 minutes of chapters to pave the way for the story. The 30-minute plot is actually very simple, and it is not difficult to explain. But no one will think it is monotonous and lengthy, because in just 30 minutes, there are three martial arts scenes that can be called a visual feast: the battle at the shipyard, Zhou Xun's ferry rescue, and Jet Li and Chen Kun's fight on the seaboard . I have seen the 3D movie blockbuster "Avatar" that makes people applaud, and I have also seen the very pitiful pseudo-3D work "Alice in Wonderland" (only the part where Alice fell into the hole can see the 3D effect). Watching this "Flying Swords of Dragon Gate" this year, I have to say that it is a surprise for Chinese movies, and I hope it will be a benchmark for domestic 3D movies in the future (please don't come out with fake 3D movies to cheat money in the future). Compared with "Avatar", "Flying Swords of Dragon Gate", of course, still has its gap. Its imperfections can be seen in a segment of the final tornado dust storm. However, in the title of the film, there is a grand and deep shot of the Xichang Shipyard, the bubbles in the water when the ship sails, the clouds and mist in the reeds, and finally the reproduction of the broken sand of the underground palace... These 3D effects are still worthy of The word shock is like being on the scene. So it's not hard to see the film's straightforward and frank pride in its own technology: Didn't you come to watch 3D? This thirty minutes will let you watch it all at once!

But everyone who has made movies knows that it is impossible to use technology to cover up the weakness of the plot, and "Flying Swords of Dragon Gate" is enough to score far beyond the passing score in terms of plot. After the foreshadowing of the previous part, all the protagonists gathered at the Dragon Gate Inn, the confrontation between the pros and cons, the differences between the decent and the treasures, the love between the children in the middle of the rivers and lakes, and the reversal of the undercover. The collection of various elements, the plot begins to become tense and full of tension. But in fact, it is not easy to achieve both technology and plot. People's attention is always limited. While dedicating more energy to pay attention to its three-dimensional effect and prop materials (I have to say that the gorgeousness of the official uniform of the West Factory is really eye-catching this time), it is inevitable that the plot will be neglected. Some of the details, this responsibility is not entirely in the film itself. However, there are many details in "Dragon Gate" that are worth savoring. The first credit for this is a group of actors with delicate acting skills.

The most outstanding part of the film is the role of Yu Huatian, the governor of the West Factory played by Chen Kun. He is the continuation of Cao Shaoqin, the father-in-law of Dongchang, played by Donnie Yen in the 94 edition of "New Dragon Inn", but he is more plump and complicated than the old version, and can be compared with the arrogant Lord Shen in "Kung Fu Panda 2". Although it is the biggest villain BOSS in the whole film, it makes people hate it. The most gorgeous and handsome in appearance, can be called a proud flower of the West Factory; the martial arts is the strongest in the whole film, and Zhao Huai'an, who played Jet Li in a one-on-one fight, is not afraid at all. Speaking of Yu Huatian's character, in fact, I really want to mention Gu Shaotang who appeared later. The two are evil and righteous, but they are really the same type of person. One is at the height of the temple, the other is far from the rivers and lakes, the other is a high-ranking official, and the other is the descendant of the bandit leader, but they all have a sense of arrogance and frivolity, as well as the calmness and thoughtfulness in the face of danger, they are all very similar. However, the two chose different directions: Yu Huatian is ruthless, he wants to kill all those who stand in his way of official and wealth, and is addicted to the game of chasing power and money; Gu Shaotang has someone she loves, she is Those who are affectionate and righteous, even saved their rivals in the war, and kept talking about money, but the ultimate goal was to settle their brothers, exchange them for freedom, and stay away from the disputes of fame and fortune.

When it comes to the knights in martial arts movies, everyone thinks it's unreal, because they never seem to be troubled by their livelihoods, and they never worry about money issues. With a long sword and a pot of sake, they can travel around freely. Zhao Huai'an and Ling Yanqiu are the best spokespersons for the word "knight". They are the most traditional "Xia": saving people or killing people, it is only for love, not for self-interest. They have no burdens and walk in the rivers and lakes without restraint. Some of them are just a little complex in their hearts. Yiren has passed away, leaving the wooden flute empty is a knot in Zhao Huai'an's heart, which makes him unable to accept Ling Yanqiu's feelings for him for so many years. Ling Yanqiu searched hard, but left sadly at the last moment. "That's it." The faint sentence was the last sentence she left to Zhao Huai'an. For so many years, he has been avoiding her, and she is not without the slightest resentment against him. After so many years on the rivers and lakes, her temperament has gradually become indifferent, but whether the love of her children can really afford it and let it go.

What impressed me the most in the whole play was the happy friends Gu Shaotang and Fengli Dao. They have many characteristics of today's young people. They are no longer knights who regard money as dung, on the contrary, power and money finally make the lovers go farther and farther and part ways. Gu Shaotang said that Fengli Dao is a person who breaks into the rivers and lakes by his mouth, but Gu Shaotang's own mouth is not weaker than Fengli Dao. The confrontation with Xichang's subordinates about poisonous wine, every word and deed, showed the demeanor of a big family; the echo of the empty valley in the underground secret passage was her analyzing the righteousness of Ling Yanqiu; the negotiation when she was kidnapped by Yuhuatian reflected her young age. But good at attacking the mind. She has a rough and gangster temperament, swearing swearing and swearing, but there are subtleties in her roughness. When negotiating and persuading others, she is well-founded and eloquent. She had to be thoughtful. However, when he was in his twenties, he inherited his father's business and led a group of fifty-year-old subordinates through the rivers and lakes. However, even Gu Shaotang, who is so eloquent, is always duplicitous in the face of his own feelings. The film does not use too much space to describe her relationship with Feng Lidao, but just explained that the two have broken up: "Only talk about business, not about feelings." She doesn't talk about feelings, but she will be jealous because of the anger and the wind, and give him a loud slap in the face. It was this little money fan who kept saying that he only wanted treasures, but at the last moment faced the gold all over the place, he went to protect Fengli Dao with his body, and became a hostage of Yuhuatian; it was this Gu Shaotang who "only talks about business", in the final wind. When Li Dao was going to be a high-ranking official in the capital, he chose to keep a promise that was not a promise and stayed alone at the Dragon Gate Inn in the desert.

Speaking of Fengli Dao, this is another surprise for Chen Kun to play two roles in the play. He is a weak scholar who makes a living by selling intelligence in the arena, and he was once a pair with Gu Shaotang. The reason for their breakup is not specified in the movie. But it can be seen from Gu Shaotang's casual taunting of him that one is the current head of the Dragon Gate Inn, and the other is a small gangster who has no skills except for lip service. The disparity of identities is self-evident. At the end, some people felt that his sentence "I want to be an official" was a bit abrupt, but with the previous foreshadowing, it is not difficult to understand. When he was pretending to be Yu Huatian, he finally got a taste of high power. When people go to high places, Feng Li Dao has an unwilling heart. It's just that in his mind, I wonder if there is also a reason from Gu Shaotang?

Feng Li Dao finally turned around immediately: "If you don't want to wait, come to the capital to find me, I'll wait for you!" He originally wanted to follow Gu Shaotang, but he did not expect that it was the wild and straightforward Brudu who has always loved him . Gu Shaotang, who has always been arrogant and arrogant, how could he be willing to let himself down to keep her. The lonely smoke in the desert is straight, and the long river is setting the sun. Behind him, only Gu Shaotang was left, watching the two leave.

PS: The flute that Gu Shaotang wore on her waist was left to her by Ling Yanqiu. I wonder if it was Qiu Moyan's in "New Dragon Inn"? If it is true, then this flute is really a must-have weapon for breaking up lovers in the world and smashing mandarin ducks.
