Footnotes to the Development of Human Civilization

First of all, I have to thank the civilized society I live in at this stage

The transition from the primitive society to the agricultural society has a farming culture, but it is not enough. At this stage, not only Japan, but also China has a similar tradition. In order to reduce the consumption of food, the elderly are sent to the mountains and left to fend for themselves.

I don't want to look at this kind of behavior at that time with a critical eye. It can only be said that it was a deformed product under the lack of productivity at that time.

Humans have not yet gotten rid of primitive instincts, not even words, only ancient conventions and inviolable gods.

Not enough to eat, not warm enough to wear, children can buy and sell at will, marriages are disordered, and families are disordered.

There are many scenes of snakes in this film. In fact, there is no essential difference between humans and animals.

At the beginning of the film, it was winter. The snakes were coiled in a ball, and there were mice passing by. I thought the mice would be eaten by the snakes. The scene in the summer turns into a snake eating a mouse. During this period, snakes appear many times in the area where people live. At the end of the film, the snake re-enters hibernation there.

They are living in this cycle, obeying the laws of nature but challenging them. Just because of the objective circumstances at that time.
