Where is the bottom line of human nature? Only when I see the old mother's silent dedication to this family, and her deep love for her son, can I feel a trace of warmth. When the old mother just knocked out her teeth, when the old mother insisted on letting her son carry herself up the mountain, when the old mother died calmly in the ice and snow, you can glimpse the beauty of human nature! The film is depressing as a whole, but it also leaves us a window.
